    Switch on one of the bedroom lamps is missing plastic thing you twist. Light bulb burned out in bathroom vanity light. Otherwise everything was great. We’re sorry to have to leave.

    This is a nice little house that is adequately equipped and has an enjoyable backyard area. It is in a decent neighborhood and a short drive to groceries, restaurants, etc. The check-in was a little annoying, with necessary forms being sent to me rather last minute so that I did find myself sitting on the porch, filling them out so that I could receive the door code. Several issues came up during our stay that kind of soured the experience. The washing machine does not work beyond getting your clothes wet and then stopping functioning. In reading a review from about a week ago, I see that this has been a known issue that apparently remains unresolved. So, I got to bring home wet, dirty laundry. I also encountered an empty propane tank for the BBQ, which nearly threw our entire meal plan down the drain. Ultimately I ended up taking the propane tank from the fire pit and using it instead, but then, of course, no fire pit. Linens provided are just what you need and no extra. So, when I sure could have used an extra towel, none was to be found (and I didn't have a functioning washing machine to clean any).The only cleaning supply available was dish soap, making clean up of a spill *very* challenging.There is no recycle bin in the house, so I was given the choice of either walking every recyclable item out to the bin at the side of the house as it was emptied, or accumulating them on the kitchen counter--not great.Lots of issues, altogether not a great value.

    The house itself was wonderful! Beautifully updated, clean and very comfortable. The outside area with the grill was a nice space to relax.The rental company was terrible to deal with. We reported that the fire pit was out of propane within four hours of our arrival. They immediately replied and we were promised a new propane tank the following morning. The propane was never delivered during our stay. In addition, the washer did not work which was reported to the rental company the day after our arrival. We learned through their reply that they knew there was a problem with the washer prior to our arrival. They couldn’t schedule the repair during our stay so we requested additional clean bath towels. It took the rental company over 48 hours to provide these. This lovely property deserves a better management company!!

    A magnificent welcoming venue that really captures the decor and vibes of seaside life. The property management team were always courteous and super responsive. For instance, they were flexible and very accommodating of our early arrival due to unforeseen schedule changes. Highly recommended, well situated with access to the sights and scenes in the area a short drive away.

    We loved the house, location, and amenities at this property. The backyard was gorgeous and the fireplace was a nice addition. My only issue is that there were conflicting directions about what the door code would be and what to do when checking out. I got multiple emails before checkin and before/after checkout that said different things.

    The house is exactly as described with plenty of amenities for a very comfortable stay. Great location to everything in the Monterey / Carmel area. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience.
