MOST LOVED BY GUESTS FOR… the perfect central location, allowing them to easily walk to both the beach and the main shopping area. The cosy atmosphere, especially with the gas log fireplace during cooler months, and the spacious, dog-friendly backyard are consistently praised.

• Prime Location: Located in the highly sought-after old Torquay area, this home puts you just 750m from the foreshore, making beach days a breeze. A scenic 8-minute walk takes you to the heart of the shopping precinct, where you can explore local cafes, boutiques, and restaurants.

• Serene Retreat: Enjoy the peace and quiet of the large, secure backyard, which is shaded by mature trees and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One guest noted, It was so peaceful and private; we felt like we had our own little oasis.

• Pet-Friendly: The fully fenced backyard is a hit with pets. Our dog loved the big backyard, a guest shared, highlighting how the space is perfect for letting pets roam freely. *A pet is welcome by approval at the time of booking, subject to House Rules.

• Gas Log Fire: The cosy gas log fireplace is a favourite among winter guests. The fireplace kept us all warm and cosy, mentioned one guest, who appreciated the inviting ambience it created. Additional year-round comfort of zoned air conditioning, with outlets in each room.

• Light-Filled Interiors: The open plan living, dining, and kitchen area is bathed in natural light, thanks to large windows that overlook the garden and create a welcoming environment.

• Modern Kitchen: The newly renovated kitchen is a cook’s dream, equipped with top tier appliances, including a pyrolytic oven, dishwasher, and an Aldi coffee pod machine. The sleek design is complemented by ample counter space, making meal prep a pleasure.

• Brekky Bar: The breakfast bar is perfect for quick meals or a casual coffee break. With seating for several guests, it’s a great spot for the kids to enjoy their morning cereal while the adults prepare for the day’s adventures.

• Fully Equipped: The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, one guest noted, praising the well-stocked cupboards filled with crockery, glassware, and cookware. Whether you’re cooking up a feast or just making a quick snack, you’ll find everything you need at your fingertips.

• Hotel-Quality Comfort: Comfy beds and a lovely updated bathroom, a guest remarked, emphasising the attention to detail that ensures a restful night’s sleep. Every bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with plush bedding.

• Ample Facilities: With two bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, there’s plenty of space for everyone to freshen up. The bathrooms are modern and stylish, featuring large showers and contemporary fixtures.

• Outdoor Living: The north-facing deck is a sun-drenched oasis, perfect for enjoying a BBQ or dining alfresco. The outdoor setting was perfect for our family dinners, a guest shared, highlighting the seamless indoor-outdoor flow that makes this home ideal for entertaining.

• Beach Proximity: Just a short stroll away, the beach is easily accessible for morning walks, sunbathing, or a refreshing swim in the ocean. One guest loved being able to walk to the beach, noting the convenience of having the shoreline so close by.

• Central Location: Situated in old Torquay, this home is perfectly positioned for you to explore the best of what the Surf Coast has to offer. A short walk takes you to local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and boutique shops on Gilbert St.

• Surf Culture: Torquay is the birthplace of iconic surf brands like Quiksilver and Rip Curl, and you’re just minutes away from Surf City Plaza, where you can shop for the latest gear and soak up the local surf culture.

• Scenic Walks: Enjoy beautiful walks along the Esplanade, through Taylor Park, or along the beachfront to Jan Juc. We loved the walk to Fisherman’s Beach, a guest noted, capturing the appeal of the area’s natural beauty and accessibility.

Located only 750m to the foreshore, via a scenic parkland reserve, or approx 8 mins walk to the Gilber St shops, the house is fully equipped and ready for your holiday. Leave the car at home and stroll to the beach, playgrounds, coastal walking trails and main shopping precinct, avoiding peak season traffic.

Only minutes from Torquay’s main shopping precinct, you will literally have restaurants, the Bowls Club, parklands and the Surf Coast’s beautiful beaches on your doorstep – park the car and explore by foot to truly enjoy this enviable holiday destination.



Getting Around:

Off-street parking available for 2 cars. This house is within walking distance to Taylor Park, beaches and the main street shops and restaurants. A short drive will take you to Torquay main beach, and the world famous Bells Beach.

Take a walk to beautiful Fisherman’s Beach, via Taylor Park reserve at the end of the street.
