We loved the deck overlooking the sound.

Location was fabulous!

We had a great weekend at this house! The view and location were perfect. There was plenty of room and the sunset’s couldn’t get better. It was perfect for kids too. We will stay here again!

Here is a brief summary of why I am writing this very rare (for me) negative review: * We were unable to access an amenity that was vital for us. We wre visiting relatives that smoke indoors and our family had serious health concerns that made it necessary for us to access the washer/dryer on a daily basis. While we were waiting to hear back for ~36 hours, there were no on call staff available. While we fully support time off, I'm afraid that this is an industry that has to have on call staff available no matter what day it is. I emailed first, called and sent text messages to the emergency numbers provided in the auto response, but they were all unmanned during the holiday. Our issue was resolved roughly 2.5 days into our 3 night stay with a simple solution (although two able bodied adults of the course of two days were unable to resolve this without assistance). * We had housekeeping concerns, but never had any response related to those concerns.. There were not-so-uncommon cleaning problems (dirty floors, floors covered in animal fur, dirty microwave, a lot of crumbs on the dining table, dirty dishes in the cabinets) that were were shared that we never heard back on. Generally, for short stays like this, we are just providing feedback, but we do expect a response. * Because of the lack of communication, we weren't able to share more serious cleaning concerns. For example, the oven was so dirty, it set the smoke detector off three times in a 15 minute period of cooking a pizza at 350*. Generally, we have found that by simply communicating, a host can set us at ease, but in this case, I would not stay at this property or with this company again unless they were the only available option. Generally, the house is an easy walk to the beach. It does have a nice view of the sound and is generally well setup for two couples or adults willing to share a two bedroom home. It was easy to use the keyless entry. I would not recommend at all for people who generally live life with different schedules (ie families with children). The bedroom doors are plantation style and not solid. Any noise in the living room into the bedroom is not at all muted (and vice versa). It would disturb a person in a bedroom for someone to watch TV in the living room for example. There was also a lack of food storage (either reusable or single use) provided that made it difficult to eat in without leading to food waste.
