r>Located on a quiet street leading to the bay, you’ll have a front row seat for every stunning island sunset. This is the best sunset location on the island! At any time of day, a short walk down to the bayshore will allow your family to explore the shoreline, find hermit crabs, fish, or use the kayak launch. Load up the beach gear and take a quick 2-minute golf cart ride to the Gulf side of the island, where you’ll find perfect white sand and beach entrances with parking at every block. The short walk to the beach is about 7 minutes. You can also get your steps in by taking a scenic walk along the quiet bayside streets.

Your family will love to visit the island center and grab famous Weber's donuts (get in line early!), play Pickle Ball, climb the Lighthouse, play on the new playground, enjoy ice cream, dine along the beach at Blue Parrot, or shop for souvenirs. There is plenty of parking at the island center for both vehicles and golf carts.

Just across the bridge in Eastpoint, you can visit the ANERR Estuary Visitor's Center to see aquariums with local wildlife, walk boardwalk trails, and learn about natural Florida. Downtown Apalachicola is just a 15-minute drive from the house, where you could spend an entire day shopping and dining at unique local restaurants. Driving a little further east along the beautiful coast will take you to Carrabelle and Panacea for some fun outings, including Gulf Specimens Marine Aquarium (hold starfish and other ocean life in the touch tanks!).

The fully-stocked kitchen, gas grill, indoor and outdoor dining areas, 2.5 bathrooms with toiletries, private spa-inspired outdoor shower, televisions, games, books, fresh linens, stocked laundry room, and Wi-Fi will make you feel right at home. There is parking for up to 5 vehicles and a privacy-fenced back yard with covered patio, grill, picnic table, & counter with barstools.
