Sea Turtle Cottage - Oyhut Bay Seaside Village

Everything was excellent! Very clean, very comfortable.

Communication was great. Check in and check out process was very clear. The house was very clean. No issues to speak of.

The Good: House is super cute and quaint, and the community is super cute and fun too. The Kitchen was supplied with the basic needs for cooking etc, Games were there to play and the beds were comfortable and nicely accommodated me and my family. Pods were provided for the washing machine and dishwasher. BBQ (Gas) is provided, though we never used it. We did a fire in the fire pit across the way in the park which was fun. The stores in the community are nice and have so much fun stuff to look at and buy. The Chocolate macadamia coconut cookie was a HIT for us! YUM! The Not so good: The main reason why I booked THIS home rather than another was because the pictures of the home showed another 2 person love seat in the living area. However, this was not in the home when we arrived, leaving not enough seating for all that were there, so some of us had to sit on the kitchen chairs, which weren't terrible, just not comfortable. This is one of the BIGGEST things I look at when renting a home. If your home can sleep 6 or 7, then there should be couches to fit that many as well. So, this was probably my biggest dissapointment. The front porch has a little gas fireplace that we couldn't figure out- think it was broken/not working. There were lots of spiders on the front porch as well, which made the kids not really want to chill there. And lots of bugs that would fly into the home when we opened the front door. There are only 6 towels provided- so prepare for that if you like/need mor

We stayed at sea turtle cottage and it was the perfect place for my family! 4 adults and 2 kids. Very spacious and clean. Decorated nicely! Comfy beds and couch. Big table for meals and board games. The community was really cute too. There was a store and shopping right there across the street and an awesome play area for kids and adults. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We loved the community and things that provided ... playground, chess, bikes, etc. The beach access was wonderful as well. Having a store in the community was really convenient. The office staff was really nice.

Oyhut Bay is my favorite place to stay in Ocean Shores, this is the 2nd house I’ve stayed in the neighborhood. House was clean and decorated very nice. Location is perfect, and nice that the house is conveniently located to the grocery store and grill.

This was our first time at Oyhut Bay and we were so impressed with the community that we just cannot see ourselves staying anywhere else at Ocean Shores again. The house was clean and very nice. The community and people that worked in all the shops and restaurants were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

We rented the beach cottage for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. Very kid friendly area and helpful staff. The cottage was impeccably clean.
