Schoonderwoerd: Timeless Charm, Ocean Breezes

This house is in a great location on the island. It was quiet, the beach was not crowded, and the house was extremely clean. Very nice upgrades. I do wish the queen bed was on the first floor, as my parents had to each have a single bed in order to have their own bath. I would rent this house again.

A wonderful house in a beautiful place. We have stayed in this house as a family in the past, too. So comfortable, clean, efficient. Working with Lewis Realty was seamless and easy.

I rented this home for the week of July 4th for myself, two adult friends and our combined 4 children ( ages 8-10). The home was well appointed with ample space for all - the kitchen was generous and was filled with all the needed utensils etc to cook for and serve 7 people consistently. The wraparound deck was magnificent - offering gorgeous views of the ocean - while affording privacy from neighboring houses. The outdoor shower was a BIG HIT - with each of us utilizing it nearly exclusively the entire week. We paid the additional fee to have the linens provided - for more than $200 the linens were simply delivered to the home and left for us to make each of the beds. The sheets were not of very high quality - especially for the high price. While the bed situation worked well enough for our particular family - I do think this size home (meant to house up to 8 people) would be better served with more double / queen beds. Over all a wonderful, comfortable, clean home that served to bring much joy to our family. We would definitely return.

Our whole family of 5 really enjoyed Schoonderwoerd! Compared to adjacent homes it appears small from the beach but inside it was more than adaquate for our group and we never felt crowded in any way. AC kept it very comfortable during a surge in temps. Very easy beach access and it has a new deck on the short boardwalk to the beach on which we enjoyed dinner on several occasions. Covered parking for three vehicles helped to keep our cars cool too. I would highly recommend this property and we are already thinking of booking another week here next year. The beach was beautiful, spotless and never crowded. Thanks for a great week!

My family and I had a great time here! The house was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. It also looked like the kitchen had recently been done and was really cute. The house was right on the beach which was very convenient with having two small children. We would definitely stay here again!
