Santa Barbara Home w/ Private Outdoor Pool!

This place was a disaster. When we checked in the BR door leading to pool area was WIDE open. Since it was 10:30PM we had no idea what may have been inside the property, we basically sat up on the couches until it was light enough to inspect the property. The hot tub was too dirty to use. The kitchen cabinets were grimy and greasy. There were ants in every bathroom and the kitchen, ants were crawling in and out of our toiletry bags, and there were cobwebs in corners just about everywhere. I provided a video of ants crawling on my toiletry bag. When killing ants on the BR floors the bath tissue was black from dirt. There was dog hair on two beds. I Emailed the host 3 days before arrival, and day of departure (we left a day early) and we never had the courtesy of a response. Property managed by a local company, Evolve Team. Evolve was initially very responsive about my concerns and provided a fair refund of 623 within 24 hours. I emailed Evolve to get an explanation as to how they arrived at this fair resolution but never got a reply. Evolve told me to be in touch with VRBO to get a refund of VRBO fees, I called VRBO and was put on hold for 45 minutes, and the call was just dropped. The refund amounted to 16% of total that I paid, which was not sufficient in my mind, I had requested 50%. I would highly recommend against using this property.

House was dirty

Pool and hot tub were perfect! House was fabulous for our family! Great location, close to beach and State Street.

Perfect place for our stay. Great neighborhood, ideal location for us, and we enjoyed the wonderful ocean breeze. The house had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The host was super accommodating and helpful.

We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara with this house as our base. Layout is great as is the pool and hot tub! Location is amazing and peaceful, walkable to grocery and a few restaurants and to a couple of beaches and open space trails. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed here for Christmas. My children and my grandchildren and I had the best time! The house was perfect for us. The property was beautiful. The location was amazing! The views were spectacular. If I could give this more than five stars I would! It was absolutely the most wonderful vacation I have ever taken.

This little bungalow is located in the cutiest little neighborhood, with really nice families. Is within walking distance of the beach and grocery store. The outside set up was a great place to enjoy that morning coffee. The local manager was very on top of any problem we had. Very comfortable.

Loved the yard and location! So close to a private neighborhood beach and one block from the farmers market and local bakery

This house was in a great location. The backyard was amazing. The hot tub and pool was fine. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. But the house itself was not very clean. When we walked in, the smell of dog was strong. There was dog hair on the blankets. The kitchen also wasn’t very clean. We did contact the host about sheets and they were quick to respond. But no response to my message about how clean it was. We probably wouldn’t stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and would return again!
