Stayed Sep 5, 2025We really enjoyed the location of the house with the close proximity to the beach. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was fully stocked. Very easy to check-in and out. That being said, the cleanliness of this rental was awful and it needs some TLC. There were stains all over the carpets, stains on the bedroom blankets and tables, a duct taped window on the upstairs bathroom door, a used nose strip stuck to the bed, and trash left on the couch. The cleaning and updates to the house felt as they were done in a hurry. The pool table is a nice touch but couldn't really be enjoyed since only one of the cues had a usable tip on it.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025We had a very nice experience. We didn't realize it was 2 units; we were in the upper portion. It is spacious and having 2 full-sized bathrooms was a perk. The location fit us well with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to access Surf City. One downfall would be that the shared parking didn't leave us much room as the renters for the other half had multiple vehicles and took up most of it.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025Sandy Lu #1 was the perfect place for our aunties/nieces trip! It’s about 175 steps from the beach and has a shower to rinse off before you head back upstairs to your home away from home. The deck is awesome and the beach sounds are amazing, especially at night. The pool table was a lot of fun and the kitchen is fully stocked for us to make meals and dinner each day. The balcony overlooking the kitchen was perfect for evening karaoke. If you’re looking for a beautiful and quiet getaway, Sandy Lu is the perfect place.
