Sandy Bay Central House

Our stay in Sandy Bay was worth every star. The decor was most tasteful and stylish. Lois was most welcoming and amenities perfect. Perfect coffee from an easy use machine, a wonderful courtyard, to relax in and a most lucky WOW on our last night as we watched the rare Aurora scream across the skies from the back garden. The only suggestive comment to add was that the actual property far exceeded the basic impression one got from the picture that advertises the property.Many thanks again Lois and would certainly stay there when coming again to Hobart

Host has fantastic and the house is even better than expected. It was perfect for our ling stay and had everything we needed. Games table and board games were an added surprise.

Great little house for an older home, host very efficient in replying to queries. Only a very small space for dogs outside but extremely secure. Central location.

Loved the house which provided the perfect space for 5 adults combining a family reunion with visiting the spectacular Hobart and Port Arthur sites.

Location was perfect & the house had everything we needed! It was home away from home. Our Hostess was wonderful & ensured we were very comfortable & also suggested options to a cafe nearby and lookout. Would definitely recommend this house for a family or group stay! Loved it!

This was a great house to base in it was close to town and allowed us to go to many other areas within2 hours of Hobart. The shops were very close and public transport was close by. The owner was very helpful when we first booked and prior to arriving, would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Great location in terms of accessibility to CBD and local shopping precinct. Although on a fairly busy street there was no road noise. Enjoyed the homely nature of the house with all the collectables and lovely furniture. The pool table was an added bonus! The only drawback was parking which was a bit of a challenge but with care ( and assistance from family) it was able to be negotiated. Lois also contacted us a couple of times giving us some hints on what to do and where to go. bonus

Wonderful location Excellent accommodation

We made a short visit to Hobart and this location was ideal for us. The house was set back from the road so there was no traffic noise and we could walk in to the Salamanca Market and Hobart CBD. We had one question for the host during our stay and when we sent a message we got an immediate reply.

The house was spacious, comfortable & warm. Nice eclectic mix of decor & bits & pieces. Good location for local restaurants in Sandy Bay & a 30 minute walk to Brooke Street Pier. Lois was very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, warm, cozy with everything you would want. Lots of room to spread out so everyone had space. The location is brillant walking distance to so many things. Highly recommend host, home & Sandy Bay

My family enjoyed a really pleasant stay in your home, we had 3 nights and on leaving felt we could have stayed longer. The place was in a great location within walking distance to many of the sites and places for me to enjoy some cold water dips- thanks for the local knowledge.
