Stayed Aug 14, 2024Pro’s - Location -easy access to trails, Lake City is a cute town! Communication with the host-Top notch, very responsive Cabin is very cute, resort area is mostly quiet, filled with trees. Cons- Honestly, the cons I am going to talk about were minimal and I would not have normally been overly concerned if the cost wasn’t as high as it was. Broken appliances- washer machine was out with a note that they were waiting for apart Unable to turn the ceiling fan off (ceilings were like 20ft tall) I did ask the host and they sent a maintenance person who came and said they need to replace the chain and then we didn’t see them again. No cleaning supplies- usually if a place has a dishwasher they will provide the soap or at least a wash worth, This location did not have them and it took us several days to be able to access the local grocery to be able to purchase some. Again, minor inconveniences if the rental rate wasn’t as high as it was. For the rate I paid, I would expect things in working order and “normal” supplies on hand. End of the day we had a great trip and the place comfortably fit 4 couples (two beds are in same loft but on opposite ends). Host was quickly responsive and friendly the whole time.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024The cabin location was great next to the river. Towels and bathroom supplies were limited so we had to go purchase some for the trip. Cabin is not very soundproof so it’s pretty noisy with neighbors close to you with ATVs. If you’re looking for a cabinet location with lots of activity around you, this is a great place.
