Salty Paws- Easy beach access, large outdoor spaces, 2 amazing covered porches

With 20 years of visiting Edisto, this was our 2nd year at Salty Paws and this house is easily near the top of our list of favorites. The bonus area is the perfect space for our kids. The house was clean and especially appreciated the grill being clean. The screened in back porch was perfect for evening board games and deer watching. The owners checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. It was not just going well, it was another great week in Edisto and we are thankful for Salty Paws’ accommodations!

This was the second year in a row that we stayed in Salty Paws and it was wonderful once again. This house is very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen! The owners communicate very well too. Great place to stay!

A great family vacation home! Our kids loved the loft area so they could have a place all to themselves. Our time was spent mostly on the screen porch watching the many deer. Thankful for room to park the boat and plenty of room for the family cars.

This was our first stay at Salty Paws and first time at Edisto Beach needless to say we can’t wait to go back! The house was perfect and the owners made the entire check in and check out process very smooth! We can’t wait to stay again next year!

This was our second time staying at this property and first time under new owners John & Lisa. They were such gracious hosts and accommodated our requests. The house is lovely - and located on a quiet street. The kitchen had everything we needed. They beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the both the back and front porches and the outside fans helped make the temperature perfect on both! We are hoping to return again to make more family memories here on Edisto and would definitely rent this home again!

This was our 2nd year at Salty Paws. The house is very spacious. The bonus room upstairs is a favorite of our kids. Having en-suite bathrooms is so nice! Screened porch was lovely! Outdoor shower is so helpful! So many deer in the backyard. It's a fantastic place for families!

This was our 2nd visit at Salty Paws, and once again it was simply amazing. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable week at the beach!

While Salty Paws features the traditional bedroom in each corner layout, there is much more living space than it seems when looking at the online pictures. Immediately upon arrival, we noticed by how open the main floor is and how much kitchen and counter space exists. We were especially surprised by the loft space upstairs. With two beds and a futon, this room was quickly claimed by the children and turned out to be the ideal space for them to hang out when we weren't at the beach. The long table upstairs is perfect for puzzles as well as setting up a workstation should the mainland require you to spend a little bit of time on your laptop. Below the house, there is more wonderful space to relax and spend time together. We appreciated all of the seating, a clean grill and the ring game (which I personally defeated twice on our first day then not again the rest of the week). The significant number of deer that visited the back yard every night were a bonus to our great week in Edisto Beach at Salty Paws. While we had no issues during our stay, the owners were thorough in their communications and always quick to respond. We highly recommend this house for your next stay.

From the very moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a great house! Check in was very smooth and the house was very clean! This house was a perfect fit for the nine of us, which consisted of a family of five, grandparents and sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Everyone had their own space to include their own bathroom. My wife and I have been going to Edisto for 30 years and this has been our best house yet! We look forward to next years trip and staying in Salty Paws.

After 9 years we found the perfect house. The bedroom layout is perfect and there are plenty of bathrooms for the entire family. The kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. The back porch is amazing, we chose to have all our meals out there and in the evenings there were always deer to amaze the family. Under the house is a great evening hang out, plenty of room for corn hole. The location is a short walk to the beach, even though we had golf carts we would sometimes walk down at night. The outside shower is large. The owners are very responsive. The house was very clean and well organized. 10/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salty Paws! The house is just beautiful. Well maintained, clean and a very easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room for us to spread out between the front & back porches and the area under the house. We have been going to Edisto for 20 years and this home is by far one of our favorites! The kitchen is very well stocked with all you need for meal prep. Watching all the deer in the backyard was a bonus! John and Lisa are terrific hosts. We had no issues at all.
