St. Louis River 3 Bedroom Home with Incredible View

Beautiful and serene property. The hosts were easy to work with and thought of everything. We traveled with a big group and had friends over - plenty of room!

Very clean with clear directions.

The place was great and our hosts, Nora and Tom, were so helpful! Communications were always prompt and personable. We were going to arrive in Duluth/Superior earlier than check-in time so we could go to Glensheen in the afternoon, but we didn't want to have all our stuff in the car. Nora let us check in early so we could drop and go. Easy. There were two other times we needed help (how to work the TV and we needed a blender) and Nora popped over both times to help because they live very close by. For checkout, Nora told us they weren't going to need access to the house until the day after our stay, so they let us leave our stuff there until we were done with our morning excursions and check out whenever we wanted in the afternoon. So accommodating! The house was clean and we had everything we needed to prepare meals and have a comfortable night's sleep. We made good use of the place and felt very safe and secure there. We'll definitely keep it in mind for our next family overnight to the North Shore.

This house was perfect for our family while we were in town for a family wedding over the weekend. The check-in/check-out process was easy to follow and Nora and Tom answered our texts/questions quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Our granddaughters enjoyed the games, books, and craft activities that were available. The property is beautiful...we even saw a bear!

We rented this lovely, secluded property on a visit to our Duluth family. Our relative's home is much too small to accommodate us all, so this beautiful property was perfect. It was extremely clean and was well stocked and had everything we needed. Tom and Nora were wonderful to work with and I would recommend this property as it was a very positive experience.

We stayed here for my brother’s bachelor party, and the property did not disappoint. This is one of, if not, the best rental we’ve stayed at! It has beautiful views of the river, and is tucked back into the woods so it’s calm and peaceful. The owners are kind and thoughtful. It’s a nice central location for wanting to go to Superior, Duluth, and Jay Cooke and Carlton. Overall, a great property and I would recommend!

Overall this was a great place to stay. We were visiting family and they were about 25-30 minutes away so the construction on 35 was kind of a pain, but that has nothing to do with the property. This place was close enough to see everything we wanted and more. The house was fully stocked with all the kitchen tools you need and has on site laundry which was perfect for us and saved me time trying to go to a laundry mat somewhere. Very quiet place on a hill with a decent view of the water. I wish there was a better trail to the water, but I know that is in progress! I would highly recommend it to anyone with a family. Sooooo much better than a hotel!!

Comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay while hiking the Southern section of the SHT.

Secured home for girls hiking weekend; visited Jay Cooke State Park and hiked several trails around the home. House had amenities just like a home does, from kleenex to blankets to nice paper towels. Appreciated the seating spaces, smart TV and multiple sleeping spaces.

We loved this property! The driveway was a little challenging in the snow, but other than that it was perfect! We will definitely try to come back!

We had a relaxing weekend at this lovely house on a beautiful hilltop overlooking the St. Louis River. We had everything we needed for cooking meals. The hosts provided all the comforts necessary to make this getaway comfortable.

The house was perfect for our mini-vacation over MEA break! We had everything we could have needed! Fishing at the river was a bonus right in the backyard, but the hike to the bottom was difficult!

Nice place. Close to Duluth, but not in the city. Quiet location.

My husband's construction crew needed an extended stay in the area for a job they were working on. They loved the house and property. They were happy and comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating.

We wanted to explore Jay Cooke state park without sleeping on the ground. This clean and comfortable home is as close as you can get. It had its own lovely atmosphere for sitting outside and enjoying the river and the trees as well. We retirees enjoyed our stay here very much and would stay again.

House was well stocked with everything you need. Location is great. Fantastic view of the river.

Nice home for a get away with family We liked the location to many activities in and around the Duluth/Superior area.

Was a great place. Winter would be tough but summer was awesome. Bring bug spray!

This house worked well for our waterfalls and lighthouse adventure. We recommend going to Betty’s Pies in Two Harbor, MN to eat or for shakes and carryout pie. They have a separate window just for ordering pie and shakes. They even have pie shakes.
