St. Louis Modern Retreat - Spacious, Family-Friendly, Convenient Location!

Took our adult children and grandchildren to St Louis for weekend and the home was a wonderful place for all of us to be together. The layout was perfect. Clean comfortable. Will use again

Our family of 10 enjoyed our trip to St Louis. This property was a great place to stay with plenty of room for us all to feel comfortable.It's close to all the down-town activities we wanted to see and provided a great place to come home to each evening. I would definitely consider using this property again in the future.

Great find for a family reunion for three generations

Ann was quick to respond if we had a question and was able to get a repair person out for the A/C the same day we noticed it wasn't blowing. Having two different A/C systems made for a cool 3rd floor. This is such a wonderful house in a great neighborhood. It was easy to get to all of our sites within 5-20 minutes - Arch, City Museum, Ulysses S. Grant museum, Botanical garden, Economy Museum, Butterfly house, Laurier Sculpture Park. There are a few places worth walking to close by. In the house, I enjoyed cooking with the gas stove. There were plenty of dishes for our crew. The water was hot and the kitchen was beautiful. I appreciated the large dining area. The bedrooms are huge! They have glazed glass doors between the kid's bedroom and parents. The second floor has a door from the bedrooms to the hallway to help keep stair noise down. The carpet is plush and the floor boards in the bedrooms do not creak. The stairs have a little creak to them, but not bad. Everyone liked their mattress and pillows - even the trundles. Both upstairs bathrooms had a walk in shower and soaking tub. The towels were soft and stain-free. We appreciated the fenced in yard with soft grass and pretty trees. You could hear birds singing in the mornings. We had our own parking spot in the back and street parking was always available in the front. We walked down to A Spoonful of Sugar after dinner one night, but it was closed. It looked really good though. Great place!

Would like to rent again next year if available. Very close to everything we were in town for. Great place for sure

Overall very good …… small update that would be nice would be shelf in second floor bathroom for soap/shampoo, etc. Again, very minor but nice touch.

We traveled to St. Louis to spend Thanksgiving with family. There were three families represented in the home. The property was cleanly and spacious, and had nice areas for privacy as well as small group gatherings. Other family members were in nearby properties and we were able to get to them by foot. Overall, this was a good experience.

We loved our stay! The house was beautifully restored. The neighborhood was nice to walk to local restaurants.

We had everything we needed and it was closely located to lots of fun and family friendly activities!! My only thing is I wish I would have realized the King bedroom on the 2nd floor and the Queen bedroom on the 3rd floor are within the same room, but seperate from, the other 2 bedrooms showing on those floors. Host was amazing and house was clean and as pictured.

It was amazing. The home had everything we needed and was super clean and BEAUTIFUL. Ann was a pleasure to work with and it helped facilitate a nice, easy wedding weekend for me!

This was my first visit to St. Louis, and I absolutely feel in love — both with the city and this home. The location was very convenient to most of what the city has to offer and on a quiet residential street. It was clean, comfortable, and had some of the best coffee I have ever had! The hosts were also amazing! I would gladly stay here again next time I am in St Louis.

We had a great experience here. The space was perfect for our group. Everything was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Anytime we needed something the host was great at accommodating us.

Our son was finishing his residency in St Louis . Family came for the celebration. He lives near that great Benton Park location. This lovely house worked out wonderfully for all to be comfortable even in the summer heat. Great kitchen. Able to walk to great food, beverages and music. Even sat outside with to enjoy conversation and fireflies . Owner very responsive when smoke alarms went off due to high humidity. Only drawback was had to walk through bedroom to get to the other bedroom to get to bathroom . House is wonderful , location great , parking easy. Highly recommend!

Great house for large group to explore St Louis and take in a Cardinals game. The property was clean and well equipped for our needs. Bess slept great.

We had the perfect experience in this adorable St. Louis neighborhood. 4 adults and 4 kiddos. There are many local coffee shops and restaurants to walk to, but it is close enough to drive and easily get to other St. Louis attractions. It was a beautifully decorated home with amenities and sleeping arrangements for multiple guest needs, and the owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming to our needs. Will definitely stay here again! Above and beyond, I cannot recommend the excellent customer service we received from the host!

We were pleased with the home and location…within walking distance of a playground, restaurants, ice cream shoppe, etc. The home was clean, had nice amenities and appointments, and had plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for sharing your home!

We loved this home! There was plenty of room for 7 of us for our girls weekend to celebrate my sister in law getting married! It was beautiful and clean. Its a semi quiet neighborhood for st. Louis. And the bavkyard is great to hang out in. I will say be warned its three stories so there are stairs. I don't recommend going down them wearing socks. The owner was great and left a detailed list of rules on the counter very easy to follow. I highly recommend this home.

We had 5 adults and 3 kids (two 5 year olds and a 7 year old). Everything at this property was clean, comfortable, and as advertised. There were no unreasonable rules, and we had a very pleasant stay. The drive to Busch Stadium was easy, and we also enjoyed a nice walk to a wonderful local coffeeshop. A+ weekend!

We loved our stay in this Benton Park gem. Located at the end of a street, we were a short walk to several excellent restaurants and a wonderful ice cream shop (A Spoonful of Sugar) we visited each evening after dinner. Immaculately clean with plenty of space, this was a lovely base for our long weekend in St. Louis.
