Sage House is a countryside 2-story guest house with all the comforts of home, including a gym and bonus queen sized wall-cubby bed (kids love it) in the upstairs loft. Enjoy coffee on the wraparound porch or dine in the treetops on the balcony. The mattresses are comfy (not too hard, not too soft), and the bedding is soft. Stayed Nov 26, 2025We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at Sage House. Paige was very responsive to messages, the setting was beautiful, and the house was the perfect size for our family of four to spread out in. We plan to stay again when we're back in San Marcos to visit our student at Texas State, which is roughly 15 minutes away.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025Lovely home in San Marcos. It was great to be close to city center, but far enough to see all the stars and enjoy the sounds of nature. Hosts responded quickly to all questions. I would stay here again!
