Stayed Jul 7, 2023The purpose for our stay in Rockport was to celebrate Dad’s 70 birthday. Our one daughter and son in law were in Boston that Friday evening for a wedding, and Rockport worked. We could bring our 2 dogs as one is old, and health issues don’t make her kennel posssible. The home was clean, property lovely. Only down points: no hand towels, and only 2 dish towels, the smalllest liquid dish soap bottle, and one allotted roll of paper towels. We bought these items. May seem petty, but it was annoying. We would consider staying again , but maybe for a week so we could really enjoy the area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was perfect for our vacation. My husband and I were joined by our son, his wife and their two young children. There was easy access to everything we wanted to do.

It is a short drive to beaches, downtown Rockport and Gloucester. It is off a busy road without a sidewalk. We would come back another year.The area is terrific. Easy to book, find, check in.

Stayed Oct 20, 2020Everything went well. Toilet and sinks have a problem with drainage. Master bath shower drain didn’t work so I removed it. Outdoor fire pit is gas even though it is shown as wood and I confirmed the day of our arrival it was wood so I bought firewood to bring. The fireplace inside has 2 notes saying how to use and don’t use. Some paint in the deck railings is needed and the siding can use some cleaning to remove the moss. Overall a nice place but we should not have to deal with these issues at this price.

Stayed Aug 24, 2020Sage Hill looks like a home, not just a rental property. It is full of charming details: paintings, posters, souvenirs. It is also very well managed; the managers responded immediately to any of my questions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable and clean house with a well-stocked kitchen and three full baths, making it great for families. Mattress in the master bedroom is very firm. Others are softer. Sofas in living room are coming apart at the seams in some areas but not a huge issue for a one weeks stay. Washing machine did not work well (issues with drainage) but we didn't call it in as an issue. Wish the TVs were smart TVs to access Netflix, Amazon, etc.The house is on a busy road but set back a bit with a lovely yard. The best part is the short walk to Long Beach. It's a beautiful beach that's mostly for locals so it's not very crowded and good for social distancing.
