Myrtlemae Farm is a 24-acre property hidden away behind state forest one kilometre from the town centre of Balingup. It features meandering gardens and stunning views over-looking the Blackwood River Valley.
‘Rustic’ is certainly a word you could use to describe Myrtlemae Cottage. It is also ‘cosy’, ‘charming’ and ‘comfy’.

Stayed Sep 9, 2025The property was absolutely lovely and so peaceful! I stayed there with my toddler and two dogs and we had really nice time. The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. The host was great to deal with and very patient. We will most likely be booking again in the near future! Highly recommend.

Stayed Jan 3, 2025The cottage is a beautiful little getaway. Quiet, peaceful, minutes from the town of Balingup so you can drive in and get something from Foster's Bakery! Photos are accurate. Communication was very good. We would love to stay again.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024We were down from Perth with our dog gor a weekend away. The accommodation was just what we needed, the photos are a good indication of the layout and amenities. Super clean, comfy bed, and a great fire and heater, so despite the cold weather we were cosy. Very relaxing and easy get away..
