Stayed Aug 22, 2025Fantastic house, Andres is the best host ever! He is so accommodating, we stayed for 2wks & he checked in on us to make sure we were good & to see if we needed anything. We had 2 pickups with trailers & Andres made sure we had adequate parking. If you are considering staying at Rustic Refuge DO IT, you won’t regret it!

Stayed May 9, 2025The backyard is a dream for a small family or just anyone who likes to hang in a back yard and enjoy being outside. Extremely kid friendly! We grilled and played in the pool. Very fun. Also a great location for riding into town. Fruita is known as bike hq so you'll likely have a bike anyway. We rode into town multiple times and enjoyed ourselves to some great local drinks and dining. If you're looking for a no frills place to crash and plan to spend most of the time outside this place is perfect. The inside is nice but a bit small with rooms all right next to each other and 1 bathroom with no tub

Stayed May 1, 2025Great location to walk downtown. The listing and google maps does not accurately describe the street the house is on. It is a major road for this area. Loud cars basically all day and night. Out side of the busy road its a great property with lots of backyard to use. One item of note thats mentioned n the listing but was not clear to me. There is an attached rental to the house that you share a wall with. Other tenants were respectful and we barely knew they were there but it was not clear to me we were in on side of a two family house.
