This charming, fully equipped home on Lake Hartwell was perfect for our family Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and the views inside the house of the woods and lake make this a special place. Without a doubt, the sweetest and most welcoming hosts of any VRBO we have ever rented.

Rustic Charm was a wonderful treat for our family and Louise made sure the accommodations offered everything we expected. The privacy and solitude of this location are difficult to find with a lake property. We will definitely return again soon!

We were so lucky to find this gem of a property. Louise was so gracious the entire stay and we felt at home. The property itself is spectacular with views of Lake Hartwell, lots of land, and access to the dock. We enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the front porch and loved the large windows throughout the home. The bedrooms were spacious and there was plenty of space for our family. Our teen boys enjoyed swimming in the lake and exploring the property. Highly recommend and we will most definitely be back!

Family lake getaway

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we booked it again for our game day girls’ weekend. The house is great, the property is beautiful, and the hosts are so accommodating. We hope to make staying here for a game weekend a yearly tradition. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this house multiple times and absolutely love it! Very spacious with great kitchen for entertaining and the porch is lined with rocking chairs to take in the breathtaking views. We will be back!

This has been the 3rd summer our family has vacationed at the Lakehouse! As always, we couldn’t be more happy with the WHOLE experience of relaxation when we are there! We can’t get enough of the panoramic views, boat rides, fishing, dock swims, cookouts, etc. ALL the fun things and more! Mrs. Louise is such a kind, courteous host who checks to make sure all is well. We are already excited about next summer?

We have stayed at many vacation homes on Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell and this one ranks at the top with our family. The house is the perfect lake house. From sitting on the rocking chairs on the expansive porch in the morning or evening enjoying the lake views and deer, to the dock that is in a quiet cove, this house was perfect for our family of 4. The host was super helpful with any requests we had and the neighbors were also very nice and friendly (as they went above and beyond to try and help us when we had boat issues with our boat). Louise and Ernie were the most friendly and gracious hosts. We will be back.

This was absolutely one of our most favorite rentals! The house is very charming and the view is spectacular. We spent so much time on the spacious deck just admiring the lake and property grounds.
