Rustic and family-friendly bow house, close to South Shore Beach

Beautiful home and property! Everything about this home exceeded our expectations. The property location was a perfect distance to the beach, the orchards, the preserves and the winery.

Everything was excellent! The house and property were beautiful and I appreciated all of the native plantings. The only downside (this was my bad) was that we stayed there for the weekend to attend a wedding in Newport and it was further from Newport than I thought (about a 50 min drive). But, that's on me - should have check that before I booked. Would stay again - gorgeous property!

Peaceful, tranquil located on a beautiful piece of property within a mile from the beach.

We had an amazing stay at Dawn and Nicks home. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable, and just so dang cute! You can tell it’s lovingly taken care of and there’s been many beautiful memories made there (including our own). The grounds really are as breathtaking as other reviews said and yea… the outdoor shower really is next level. One last thing, Dawn and Nick really are great hosts and you can tell they want you to feel at home there, that’s not an experience I’ve always gotten with other rentals so kudos to you two.

House and grounds were the best!! Stayed at many VRBO properties - none better than this one!Extended family with 4-7 staying at various times - all age groups loved it - Fire pit, sun deck, patio are all well planned, firewood on site, lots of room for the kids to play ball, lots of space for the adults to relax. Dawn and Nick very responsive - contacted us when a thunderstorm knocked out power in the area to check in - fortunately only the lights flickered.Modern house with all amenities needed for a joyous family stay.Will definitely be back next year!!!

We had a friends wedding in Little Compton, so 6 of us travelled from Australia and 2 from Canada. It was a great weekend away and the house was super close to the wedding venue and winery (for welcome drinks). Cute little town to pop into and pick up some souvenirs and an amazing cheese place!The property was spacious and had everything we needed. Would be lovely to stay again during some warmer weather as there were lots of beach chairs and outdoor spaces to be used.Thanks for an amazing stay!

From the cozy beds to the beautiful decor this listing has it all! The owners have thought of everything you will need to enjoy your stay and then some. The most amazing yard and wildlife with an outdoor shower to die for! I would give this listing 100 stars if I could! Anyone who books here will not be disappointed!

This is a gorgeous property, and one could spent the entire time just enjoying different parts of the grounds. Ample privacy and beautiful landscaping lend themselves to pure tranquility. The amenities of the house are excellent, including a nicely-furnished kitchen. Highest recommendation.

Pictures don’t do this home justice!! The grounds are huge and breathtakingly beautiful, with plenty of room for sitting around and taking in the late afternoon sun in the Adirondack chairs or cozy loungers. The outdoor shower was the perfect way to start every day, and to rinse the sand after a long beach day. The inside of the house was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. South Shore beach is right down the road, and Dawn has plenty of beach chairs, blankets and outdoor towels to make your trip convenient! We had the most wonderful week here and will definitely return!

We had a wonderful vacation in Little Compton. Just wait until you see this spectacular property! The outdoor spaces - patio, sun deck, outdoor shower, fire pit, lawn are all wonderful and there is so much privacy. The house is large and comfortable with nice touches like throw blankets, plenty of beach towels and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts of this property truly go above and beyond. At the beginning of our stay there was an unavoidable issue and the hosts were proactive, communicative and responsive. We knew that everything would be taken care of and it was. To me this speaks volumes and I look ok forward to staying here again.

A great place to relax and slow down. I had a great time with some friends and checking out Westport nearby to sample some of the local wine. Didn't end up going to the beach, but it was pretty close and the waves looked surfable from a distance. I'll have to bring a board when I come back some day. The hosts were very responsive and kind and even left me a thoughtful hand written note.
