Rose Garden Cottage - Classic Santa Barbara Luxury

Home was clean and well appointed. Locations was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

My son attends UCSB and we visit often. This is the first place we’ve stayed that emcompassed all the manic and beauty of Santa Barbara

Absolutely the best VRBO we have rented! We sat outside in the backyard almost every evening for dinner, which was so relaxing and very quiet. The three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths were perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom sink. The house was so cute and had everything we would have needed and clearly labeled. And the roses were not only lovely, but also the aroma was lovely We all had a wonderful, memorable visit to Santa Barbara.

I would definitely return. The cottage was tastefully done with everything we needed.

We loved the house and the beautiful landscaping made the home and backyard feel like a private oasis. Over our 6 night stay we only went out to dinner once as we were happy to enjoy the space and cook for ourselves. The kitchen and BBQ were well kitted. We hope to return

This is a beautiful storybook property from the white roses in the front yard to the picturesque secret garden in the back. The backyard felt secluded because of the thoughtful and gorgeous trees, roses and landscaping including a blueberry garden. We enjoyed meals out here as well and it was a lovely departure from the nightlife on State Street and beachfront hotels. The neighborhood had many restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance (about a mile) and other beautiful homes with mountains in the distance to look at. You can also walk to the Mission - wonderful! The chef's kitchen had literally anything you would want in the way of cookery, cocktail glasses, linens and beautiful serving dishes. If you don't cook, you will feel very fancy here anyway. Also, we discovered an entire closet full of board games which were very popular with our crew. So if you are looking for a beautiful house in an established neighborhood with lovely walks, this is it! The house was meticulously clean and and well thought out. The primary bathroom shower felt like a spa! One issue worth noting is that this house does not have railings for assistance on any of the steep steps to the front door, or from the dining room to the lower level kitchen or the back patio stairs to the beautiful yard. If you use a cane, walker or wheelchair, this may not be the easiest house for you.

We booked this gorgeous home to celebrate our youngest graduating from ucsb. My husband and I view graduation as part a celebration of our child’s achievements and part a celebration of ours. This home was the perfect treat for all of us. It was a comfortable home and backyard for relaxation and conversation. We had wonderful meals and enjoyed walks in the gorgeous neighborhood. We could not be more pleased with our stay.

This home was gorgeous inside and out. The trees and foliage in the backyard made it beautiful retreat for relaxing and dining. The decor inside was elegant, yet tasteful and simple. Definitely a lovely place to stay. My only wish was that the beds were larger.

This house was really nice with a large, updated kitchen and a large backyard. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Great neighborhood close to parks, museums, beach, but still very quiet. The queen bed in the master bedroom was a little creaky (I hope the owners will consider updating to a king bed!) but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We appreciated all the little extra touches like the well stocked kitchen, shampoo/conditioner, and very fluffy towels.

Had a golfing weekend with a couple of buddies. House near the golf course and lots of restaurants. House had a gorgeous spacious backyard and great kitchen.
