Ron's Retreat Pet friendly 4BR/4.5BA home in DeBordieu w/club membership

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used to live nearby and after moving away came to this area frequently for vacation, but we won’t be back. It’s now overbuilt, crowded, and the DeBordieu community wants to charge outrageous fees to use their facilities. Thanks to VRBO, there are a ton of fees tacked on to make what is now a now mediocre experience entirely too expensive. This is a nice property, but I don’t like feeling like I’m being taken for a ride to do even basic things like rent a golf cart, swim in a pool, or buy a snack just off of the beach. This isn’t a critique of the property or the owner. It’s a critique of the system and overall experience.

The beds were great we would have liked shades on all the windows.

The other company canceled our reservation 30 minutes before check in but was able to get us in touch with Suzanne at TideLife. While we were originally supposed to be ocean front, Ron’s Retreat was a great home!

We especially enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table when we weren't on the beach. Suzanne and the Tidelife staff was, as always, super helpful. There is nothing they wouldn't do to make our stay perfect.
