Enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. Had everything we needed. Favorite part was the view even though the weather was too chilly to enjoy sitting on the deck.

I must say this little house was once loved and cared for, but as time takes its toll, upgrades and care seem to have gone by the wayside. The trees have grown up so as to not allow for the view that is represented in the pictures. The initial impression of cleanliness was present, although it was very dated and in need of freshening up. The result being an accumulation of unnecessary clutter in the cabinets, etc. An overall declutter and deep cleaning is in order!!I'm not sure what is happening to the downstairs, but there is a lot of junk that looks like unfinished remodel material left lying around.This is a solid structure that with some TLC could be a lovely destination!!

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at this cabin. The views are breathtaking. Every morning and afternoon the mountains and surroundings change with the clouds and it is spectacular. Everyday of our stay we would see deer walking by or on the ride up the mountain. The cabin has everything we need. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is close to all the local attractions. We skied and went riding at Hawksnest. We went to Banner Elf for dinner and Blowing Rock all beat little towns. And of course Boone is a cool town to explore. I highly recommend this location.

This was a beautiful cabin with an amazing view. My family had a great time staying here and will definitely be coming back. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

This sweet house has the most incredible views! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a cozy stay during a cold week. Hosts were very easy to deal with and check in was a breeze. The views are breathtaking.

We loved staying in this mountain treasure. The views from the back deck were mesmerizing. It was our favorite place to be. We plan on returning to this little jewel.

We had a terrific stay! I rent houses several times a year and can state this is a great place for a couple or two. The photos do not adequately convey its comfort inside and out. Super clean and bright. It is a short drive right onto King Street and 321, so easy to reach shopping and dining. The beds are soft and comfy, but one is pretty high. The couch is soft leather which benefits from a cushion at the back. The upholstered chair has very good support, my husband loved it when he was not enjoying the wonderful cool air on the deck. The kitchen was quite functional and had some spices, vinegars and oil. AC is window units but were not really needed during mid August. The pull through driveway was nice and would hold maybe 3 sedans. The TVs worked fine but we are not big viewers. The views of the sunrise and stars are very good between tall trees. We enjoyed relaxing inside and out between trips to hike and dine. We intend to stay here again on a trip to the high country, so I hope it does not get too popular!
