Rockin' P Haus; Beautiful hilltop home near the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake

The house was amazing! Would recommend.

The house was lovely and was mostly how it was depicted online. The view in the back was magical, and the back porch was great. Because the house is located off a narrow, steep road in a rather remote area, it’s not the best area for walking. While the guest bedrooms were really good, the primary bedroom lacked a closet or a rack or even a hook for hanging full-sized garments such as dresses and slacks. It does have a small wardrobe that accommodates short tops, but it’s not sufficient hanging space for two adults. Not enough hooks in the masters’ bathroom either—for robes, for example. Also, the kitchen could use more full-sized serving pieces, and the coffee pot was broken so I had to go purchase one for reimbursement from the owners. Cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathroom don’t have handles or knobs, and they are loathe to budge, so I broke several nails and muttered curse words trying to claw them open. (I understand the farmhouse minimalist design, but moving parts should be functional.) The owners were very nice and responsive, however, so they get 5 stars. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed this house and property. The back patio is great to relax after a long day. The bedroom setup was great and accommodated our group of two families with kids.

This is a great place to stay. Easy drive to New Braunfels, but you get the benefit of having a peaceful place to relax. This will be our go to house for sure.

This property was a prime location for our family. One family went to SeaWorld, another floated the river. We enjoyed shopping in Wimberley and dinner in Greune! We had beautiful views as well!! This home had the best of everything.

We had a great time staying here, enjoyed the views the calmness, lots of deer that come up to the cabin in the mornings and evenings. Its also very close to the guadalupe river and has everything you may need close by from groceries to restaurants. Overall very clean place, loved the grill and patio.

Family trip with adult kids to New Braunfels area for floating rivers and concert at Whitewater amphitheater. Great location for relaxing trip at property or enjoying all the area has to offer as to entertainment.

While we didnt spend much time at the home because we were visiting family that lives in the area, the home was beautiful with wonderful views. Very comfortable, clean, and modern.

Such a perfect little house for a wonderful weekend getaway. Right in the middle of so many activities for kids and family to enjoy. The house has a beautiful view and all wonderful amenities.

Beautiful home centrally located to all the river fun but far enough off the main path that we had multiple deer visits throughout our stay. It was so nice to have a sanctuary to return after the tubing crowds!!!

This was a great place to unwind and relax for the long weekend. The owner was great with communication and made sure our stay was enjoyable!! I would highly recommend this stay to friends and family who would be in the area!!
