Stayed Jun 4, 2026Great location just off Park Ave. We were staying for the Nitrate Picture Show at the George Eastman Museum so had a very nice 15 walk from there. Clean home, nice backyard. Easy off street parking.

Stayed Apr 20, 2026There are not too many places I ever think I would definitely book again but this place is the exception! I chose it for the location to my daughters’s school (Eastman School of Music), my mom’s need to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, the parking and proximity to good restaurants. In fact, the restaurants were so delicious and affordable and within walking distance that we actually never cooked during our one week stay. The kitchen had enough space and was stocked well enough to cook but we chose not to. Communication with our hosts was easy, friendly and we found them very responsive. Check out was great as we didn’t have to take out the trash or wash and put away all the dishes like most places. Keyless entry was easy. I will say that the stairs were the steepest I’ve ever seen so I was a little nervous using them but I survived, lol. The door knobs were very loose but I didn’t feel the need to close my bedroom door all the way nor my upstairs bathroom as it was just my mom and I. There are two bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom. I chose the bedroom where I didn’t need to walk a few stairs down and back up in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom. That seemed very unsafe for me but then again I can be a klutz. The living room was cute and the television was easy to operate. I did have to reset the WiFi to make it work. Once working, it was quick and stable. We look forward to staying here again next year!!!

Stayed Mar 22, 2026So close to almost everything for walking. Could easily ride a bike to the closest Wegman’s. Quiet the entire stay. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Oct 16, 2025Quaint home in quiet city neighborhood, close to restaurants, retail, major highways and parks. Home was super clean and updated appropriately - well decorated and stocked. Hosts were perfect and clear with communication. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Dec 26, 2024You can't beat the Park Ave area for a Rochester visit! Our VRBO was great. Gas fireplace in the living room is a nice touch. Only issue is an unusual stairs up to the bedrooms. Took a little getting used to and had to be careful

Stayed Sep 5, 2024The house was very clean and comfortable. While located within a few blocks of I490, as are most homes in Rochester, the road traffic was not easily heard, only slightly when the windows were open. The stairs in this home are very steep, so those with mobility issues should plan on using the lower bedroom and full bath. The hosts were very accessible and made sure that our needs were met.
