Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood
The view was breath taking, sitting out on the decks enjoying the sunset & sunrise.
Overall we loved the property. Secluded and quite with a great view of the water. The communication with the property manager was not up to verb standards, we ask for an early check in and all we got was a canned reply. N9 was staying at the property the week before us.
Family gathered to all be together while visiting our midshipman who is a Firstie (senior). This was the perfect home. We spent many hours outside on the multiple decks enjoying our time together playing games, doing morning yoga and enjoying a cocktail while taking in the beautiful nature that surrounded us. The openness of the kitchen, family and dining area was perfect for all of us being together to share in the cooking, eating and cleaning of the numerous meals throughout the weekend. This home was the perfect amount of space, beauty and location for our needs for this family weekend of togetherness. I would absolutely recommend this home to others.
Secluded, cozy, good waterfront access, quiet and fun
My family enjoyed our stay tremendously. If you are looking for a getaway from your hectic and busy lives, this is it! This home is tucked back in a cove of the river and deep into a cul-de-sac. Yet your accessibility to food and other stores are within a 5 minute drive. You feel as if you could be a tree house with steps leading to the river. The view never gets old and the calm you are able to experience here is good for the soul. We did a lot of paddleboarding and kid kayaking which was perfect because of the low boat traffic due to being in the cove. If you are looking for peace and family time this is your place.
It was a spectacular vacation home. We were cozy and yet the home was so spacious we had room to breath. The view was stunning and neighborhood upscale and quiet. It was also immaculate and the furniture comfy.
Such a peaceful getaway so close to Washington, DC! I loved sitting on the deck for breakfast and listening & watching the birds. There was a pileated woodpecker in one tree, and I heard an owl hooting one night. My dog and a pair of Canada geese had a bark- and honk-off on the dock, that was hilarious. The house was gorgeous, and spotlessly clean, but the view is really what sold me. The tide lapping at the shore, boats bobbing in the creek. It was very quiet. One of the approaches for BWI Airport is far overhead, but it's not especially intrusive. The kitchen is nicely equipped. I had a small dinner party on the deck, using the barbecue, and it was a hit. The beds are comfortable, and I enjoyed the extra-long tub in the primary suite for a nice hot soak (note there is no shower in there, one must use the shower in the main hall bath). The house is near the end of a cul-de-sac above the creek. The neighbors are friendly. It's a short but strenuous hike up the hill to the next street, but my dog needed more of a walk than what was the street in front of the house. A couple of goes at the hill and the burn went away! Downtown Annapolis, with its nice restaurants and art galleries, is only about 15 minutes away, and a Safeway for provisions is less than 5. Enjoyed the stay very much, thank you for sharing your lovely home. I hope to come back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation, especially the record player!
Great location, the view it terrific and the dock is very large. Home was clean other than an ant issue that we had in the kitchen so we could not leave anything on the counter, but the refrigerator and other kitchen equipment are very clean and new. We had requested fragrance free and they were very accommodating. The only complaint other than the ants is the bathroom on the 1st floor was under construction and was unusable, we were told this a few days before we arrived and still agreed to rent the home.
Love this property. I’ve stayed at many places from the site and this little gem moves to the top of my list. Everything you could want and a little more. A great place for two hard-working medical professionals that needed to get away for some R&R. This place is very quiet and has a really awesome views.
Loved the setting. Decor was beautiful. Home was clean and well maintained. Beds slept good. Everything was wonderful. Beautiful and peaceful stay!
Excellent place close to Annapolis, made it easy to travel to and from and get little kids down for naps - while still being able to enjoy homecoming at the Academy! Nice neighborhood for a casual fall walk. Thank you!
We recently stayed at the Chase Creek Retreat for the 2022 US Naval Commissioning Week. Our family flew in from California and we arrived at the home late in the evening. Everything was as advertised and it was a delight waking up the next morning to the views along the creek and dock area! The neighborhood is very tranquil and ideal for a getaway. It was hard to imagine that we were a mere 10-15 minutes from downtown Annapolis. The accommodations inside the home were great and we never felt like the house was too small for our other family members who visited us. A definite plus was the ability to have other family members join us out on the expansive docks and have a comfortable front row seat for the Blue Angels flyover demonstration. The folks at At-Home Annapolis were super friendly and a joy to work with for the year leading up to our arrival. Thanks to them for ensuring a wonderful stay and the ability to enjoy all that comes with the Commissioning Week festivities! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
