Cozy Cabin on the Au Sable. Great property and will be back.
Very nice cabin on the river with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome basket full of goodies was a nice extra touch. Close to Grayling and Gaylord for shopping and elk viewing. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!
Myself, 3 girlfriends, and a 6m.o. baby spent 2 nights here. It was cozy and the sound of the river was absolutely lovely. We grilled out the 1st night. The next day we hiked at Hartwick Pines, ate dinner at Paddle Hard Brewing, had a bonfire next to the river, and played card games. It was such a cute little cabin, and we had fun counting all the fish in the house!
We will definitely be back! Loved the clean cottage, location and fly fishing on the Au Sable river. Perfect get away.
Such a cute spot and adorable cabin!
The property and location of this property was not what i expected. There is a house very close that you THINK is the home you rented as you pull up. It is very run down and a lot of junk outside of it. Also, the house is very close the road and the 'view' to the right is the road/underpass. There are no comments on either of these things in the reviews. I will admit that the location along with the house next door did create a bit of an uneasy feeling with me. The inside was cute enough. The water trickles out of the sink faucet but the shower works well. I am a light sleeper and the old heater turning on and off did keep me up at night. Overall I would probably not stay at this particular property again.
Very well kept cabin with a great view of the river. Had the opportunity to kayak in Grayling and rest. The porch was amazing and very much enjoyed.
We had a nice stay there. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. We couldn't access the TV for some reason. I did try to contact the local caretaker earlier in the week a couple of times, left a message twice but didn't get a call back. However, the VRBO staff answered my questions. We had a comfortable stay.
Had a great time. Love kayaking the au sable. Quiet place. Stores not to far away. Would stay again. There could have been gas for.the BBQ though
Great little cabin for our stay up north. Loved the screened in porch right on the river and the woodsy look of the cabin.
