Stayed Jul 14, 2025Colin and Ania are the perfect hosts. I can't believe I'm saying this and please don't tell her, but this house is actually cleaner than my mother's! Comfortable home, comfortable beds and hosts who have literally thought of everything you need to have a wonderful stay! Bonus: Wild turkeys with babies along the river bank!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024This was the best VRBO experience I've ever had. The home was well-equipped, spotless, comfortable, air-conditioned, welcoming -- you name it! We enjoyed grilling dinner, eating at the nice table outside listening to the river in the shade of the pine trees. We had restful mornings sipping coffee on lounge chairs - swimming in Lake Wenatchee, floating the river, enjoying drives in the hills. Wonderful!!! Thank you!!!!

Stayed Sep 29, 2023The property was very nice and welcoming. It was well decorated and had a cozy feeling. The kitchen came well stocked with necessities including any spice you could possibly want to use. The hosts were constantly in touch to make sure that are needs were taken care of. Definitely somewhere I would go again. Loved the location and the little town of Plain and going to Plain Winery to relax. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my daughter before she got married in a quiet way.

Stayed Aug 16, 2023This is what VRBO stays should be like! The property is is incredibly well kept, well appointed and it is obvious the owners treat this like their first home. Colin and Ania are amazing hosts, super responsive to any request, and this is a house/cabin that you can just walk into and relax. It has just about everything you will need (kitchen, towels, electronics, etc) to be able to just get away and enjoy. We felt like we were taking a risk booking 9 nights having never seen the property except from the online pictures, but when the time was up, it didn't feel long enough. Highly, highly recommend if you are looking for a place to get away and recharge.

Stayed Jun 8, 2023We had an excellent stay at the Chalet, using it as a stopover on our way from Seattle to The Gorge. We spent a day exploring Leavenworth and the area. We also just enjoyed hanging on the deck while listening to the river roll by. Everything was extremely clean and every need had been considered. To describe it as ‘well appointed’ would be an understatement.

Stayed Dec 8, 2022We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking. We sat outside in the mornings listening to the Chiwawa River while drinking our coffee. It was so peaceful. The house was beautifully decorated and so cozy. It was clean and had just about every amenity you could think of. Colin made sure to check in throughout in case we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here and we would love to stay here again. We were about 20 minutes from Leavenworth, which was perfect. There was also a general store close by and the owners were so sweet and gave us good tips and recommendations. The neighbors came over and helped us clear snow. Mind you, there was someone who came to plow, but this was late in the evening when we arrived. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful place with our family!
