5BR Saugatuck-Area Home with Incredible Views

Five stars. I would stay again without thinking twice.We chose the house for the layout, and it delivered. The kitchen opens into the living area, so the person cooking is still part of everything. It made the whole place feel easy and social.The downstairs was perfect for the kids. It kept the noise contained and gave the cousins a real sleepover setup with two queen beds. They loved it.My pregnant sister stayed on the main floor. The king guest room with the en suite bath was exactly what she needed. Quiet, comfortable, and close to everything.Upstairs was just as perfect. Three bedrooms, all well done, all comfortable. The house felt luxurious and thoughtful everywhere, not just in the obvious places.The hosts were thoughtful in every way. They decorated the house for Christmas, with two trees, one on the main floor and one downstairs, Christmas lights outside. It made the place feel warm the minute we walked in.It was also immaculately clean. My standards are high, and theirs are too. The corners were clean. The back of the toilet was clean. That kind of clean is rare.There was no lack of supplies. Everything we needed was there, and it was quality. Bounty. Charmin. Brita. Reverse osmosis water.The photos don’t do it justice. The house is better in person, and the hosts are the best part. They were always in communication and made the stay feel simple. We felt lucky to have found it.

Absolutely amazing property!! Beautiful view, super clean, super comfy, extraordinarily well stocked, comfortable beds throughout the house, just wonderful!!!!! I really can’t say enough about how great this property is! We had 11 ladies and everyone was so comfortable and had an amazing time!!!

We loved the house and the Douglas/Saugatuck area!

What a beautiful home! There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We had everything we needed. The view was amazing! And the location was great!

We had our multi generational family vacation and the river view retreat was perfect. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults could enjoy the scenic view and great location to Douglas and Saugatuck. The home is clean and provided everything we needed. Ben and David are attentive hosts, we'd absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely incredible stay! Hands-down our best VRBO experience. The house was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious, more than enough room to very comfortably accommodate our group of 14, which included a few small children. It was clear the owners went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.The home was stocked with absolutely everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen had every utensil and gadget. There were plenty of essentials, a huge variety of toys and books for kids, and even thoughtful touches like baby gates, high chair, baby monitor, and pack-n-plays. It truly made traveling with little ones so much easier and stress-free.There were multiple comfortable sitting areas throughout the home that made it easy for everyone to gather, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. The indoor fireplace added a warm, cozy touch. The downstairs game room was an absolute hit with both the kids and adults. Whether it was shuffle board, board games, or just unwinding, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The outdoor space was just as fantastic with plenty of room to play and lounge, and a hot tub and grill. The town of Douglas is charming, peaceful, and full of character. We loved exploring local shops, cafes, and beaches. And being just minutes from Saugatuck was a huge bonus, such a vibrant and beautiful town with even more to see and do.This property is a true gem, is highly recommended, and five stars is not enough!

The house is beautiful, up to date and stocked very well with kitchen utensils, gas grill, bedding, towels, games etc.. Can't say enough what great place you have here!

This property was better than the photos, and I had high expectations from the photos-the home is beautiful. I had communication all the way through the process, checking in was a breeze. The house was attractively decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The layout and view (oh the view) magical. We felt so relaxed due to the location. We were provided with lots of recommendations for shopping and food, which was phenomenal. If I could rate it higher I would. My bestie is turning 50 we went there to celebrate her, she is in a clinical trial, and we do not know how many years we have left-it did me and her a world of good to just let it be for one weekend, and this was the best place for that. Thank you Ben and David, I feel so fortunate for discovering this home, we all had a wonderful experience.

Beautiful home and view!

Perfect house for a couple families with kids!! They have thought of everything and it is so comfortable and relaxing. Great beds and amenities! Able to walk to town and enjoy the sights!!

The house is lovely. Lower level was perfect for our boys with bedrooms and game area. Ben was very helpful and accommodating. Can't say enough great things about this home and owners.
