Jane was a great host, very easy to get ahold of and answer questions. Beautiful property, peaceful and everything promised.

Perfect spot for a fishing weekend! Beautiful spacious home with lots of streams nearby

We had a gathering of four different couples, and we had more than enough room & extra beds/floor space in the loft for the kids if you needed it. Plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of space to gather. The location was serene, tucked back in a beautiful valley. Close to Lansing and yellow river forest and a short drive to beautiful Decorah. There is so much to see and do here! We enjoyed an afternoon at the tiki bar in Lansing and an afternoon in Decorah. Then coming home to play games & chill. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. There was plenty of cooking supplies- we made several meals. And lots of towels, blankets. A very clean & well kept property. The little cabin next door is great, too!

Plenty of room and beds. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has the basic necessities along with dishes you may need. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit but there was a sign for it. We parked outside the house and there's a short packed gravel path leading to the house from the main road. We were on motorcycles and it didn't pose a problem. The house and the area are quiet. Jane is wonderful and responds promptly.

Had a great Christmas away from home. A place to drag all the kids and their spouses away from everything else going on around the holidays. The place is large, lots of room to spread out, large kitchen for bigger groups. The bed I slept in was pretty comfortable and overall a comfortable place. Kitchen was very well appointed, probably more than most places we've stayed. Only 7 minutes from downtown Lansing so easy to pop over and grab dinner, drinks or groceries. We took the ferry across to Wisconsin to see the activities happening on the river.

Host communicated well and provided a nice place to stay.

6 friends for a weekend away playing cards, board games, a little shopping and food!! The property was well kept, secluded, clean and lots of nature!!

I want to thank Jane & John for hosting my friends and family. This place is spacious, clean, and warming. The scenery is awesome as well. The check in to the check out process was smooth. Everything was accommodated well and Jane is responsive! I recommend this place to anyone who is staying in the area with a bigger party.

One of the cleanest VRBOs we have ever stayed in!! Plenty of room for everyone. The little ones loved the large front yard and we could watch them from the balcony porch. The loft space was their favorite spot! Lots of things to do in the surrounding towns. We LOVED this place!

We rented the property to host an anniversary dinner and have a space for friends and family to gather. We couldn't have been happier. The property is beautiful, well maintained and easy to access. Communication was excellent.

The large cabin is beautiful! Bathroom on every floor definitely was a plus. Only thing we will do differently in the future is renting the cottage as well lol be nice for the grand parents on a family reunion to have a place to step away from the grandkids! 10/10 would recommend and will use again in the future

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this property for our family Christmas. There are plenty of rooms and beds for everyone.

This was a perfect place for our family Fall trip! It was peaceful and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. So many things to do in Lansing and surrounding towns. I highly recommend.

Beautiful relaxing property. Clean and plenty of space. Owner was quick to respond and was really friendly. Had great suggestions for fishing spots. Definitely would stay here again.

This was a great place for us to have our cousins weekend! The cottage was a great size for our group, we had plenty of room. Definitely could host a large family or friends weekend. We enjoyed the dry creek bed and the surrounding paths. Only thing I wpuld suggest is a step stool for us short people. Highly recommend a stay!
