Quiet, walkable to town, lots of wildlife (river otters, kingfishers, ospreys, doves, owl, song birds, etc), trail along river gets you to beach on north side of river. Access to canoe, kayak launch (bring your own). House is really nice, good layout with lots of windows (though most storm windows were still on in August for some reason). Could still hear the ocean from the deck.

There's plenty of room and the three baths are a welcome feature. The town Yachats itself is fun and very easy to get to.The property is a little tired and could use some routine care (the screen door hasn't been repaired in two years), but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Other than having no washcloths, the baths and kitchen was fairly well appointed.Will we book it again? Yes! It isn't perfect, but it is a good deal and the wonderful location does make it a special treat.

We could see the river flowing by from all three floors of the home, which is tastefully decorated and so comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

House was great! Pool was not available and that was disappointing- should let people know that it is no longer available after Labor Day. Also no access to the river- a clear walkway would be nice and a bench down by river. No barbeque also disappointing. Need a garbage at house. House was delightful and comfy- would stay again just for the house.

Well appointed jewel box house. One thing to note for summer travel: there are no window treatments of any kind, anywhere! I mean nothing. There is a skylight directly over the master bed. The sun rises at 5:30 in Yachats in the summer.
