River Reach - 3 Bedroom - Waterfront Retreat with Large Dock, Bar & Fire Pit

We loved our stay! The house was amazing. Perfect location on the canal and very close to everything homosassa has to offer. The boat dock was wonderful and the house has been tastefully renovated to keep its rustic charm. Our family will be wanting to return soon! Thanks so much!

We had so much fun at this home and enjoyed every minute of our time. The hosts were super friendly and communicative throughout the stay. The location is perfect for easy access to the gulf or the springs, right near food options as well. The home was clean and made us feel right at home. Would love to go back and stay again!

We spent our winter in this delightful house and loved it so much we hope to be here next year! - Owners were the best landlords we’ve ever had. They let us know whenever a maintenance crew would be on the property, communicated any information we needed and always responded immediately to our needs. Very nice, cordial people, a pleasure to do business with.- This is a great house - we came to relax and kick back for the winter and the house had everything we needed: a great waterfront, quiet neighborhood, comfy furniture and excellent beds! It was a breeze to keep clean, all supplies provided. - The house is in the golf cart community area of Homosassa so we made great use of our golf cart to go everywhere, just loved it!I can’t say enough good things about the house and our winter season here. Fantastic home in fantastic location. Inside, the home is good size, very comfortable and well appointed. If it were just that, we’d still love to return… but who wants to sit inside with the natural beauty available right outside? Take advantage of morning or evening (or midday) serenity on the large deck overlooking a gorgeous bend in the creek. If peaceful appreciation of nature is your thing, bird watching and the occasional dolphin and manatee provide the perfect backdrop. Go for a bike ride or get on the water on paddle boards or your own boat sitting on the available boat lift. We weren’t familiar with Homosassa before this visit, but it’s definitely high on our list now. Great food, active small town bar scene and good people all around. Thanks Jay and Ashley!

Our vacation plans were ruined by a hurricane that came through the day we were supposed to be checking in. Once the host and our family found out about the track of the hurricane and it’s expected point of landfall and day it would hit, the host reached out and was in constant communication before, during, and after the storm. I cannot express how impressed I am with his communication and friendliness! Will definitely rent again!!! Excellent host!!!

We have been coming to Homossassa for 23 years. we found this listing and decided to give it a try. Location was amazing and the neighbors were wonderful. we had everything we needed and felt at home. Jay was a great host. We went out on the water scalloping every day except one because of rain but the house was a great day to rest and unwind. And yes we found the scallops, Jay was a big help with that also. Manatee’s, Dolphins and even a gator in the canal. So peaceful and close to town and the restaurants on the river. We definitely will book again ♥️. Love that the ride to the springs is now a quiet area, it lets you experience old florida and the beautiful homes on the river.

This was our 2nd “snowbirding” stay at the River Reach! The location is great, especially if you have your own boat. It’s just minutes away from the Freezer, 10 minutes via boat to MacRae’s, Crumps and the Monkey Bar. The furniture, inside and out, is super comfy. We love that it’s spacious, light and airy inside. The owner Jay is great to work with, and the neighbors are friendly and welcoming. We look forward to renting again next year!
