Stayed Jul 3, 2025We had an amazing experience at this property! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was right there. The highlight was definitely the peaceful river right in the backyard—it made for such a relaxing atmosphere. Whether we were enjoying coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening, the sound of the water was soothing.

Stayed May 15, 2025This property was amazing! It was very clean with plenty of space for our extended family to come together and celebrate my daughter's graduation from JMU. It was an easy 30 min drive back into Harrisonburg and the location provided us a bit of peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of graduation traffic. We enjoyed the fishing and the air hockey table. The hot tub was also great! I highly recommend this property.

Stayed Aug 15, 20243 couples and lots of fun! We fished, did a kayak trip and fished some more. The place was super clean and conducive for fun and privacy when you needed moments to yourself away from fun! We would definitely go back. We never left the house to go into town (which says a lot about comfort), but will next visit. The beds were really comfy and we wished we had an extra day even after 3!

Stayed Jul 29, 2024We come here annually it is a perfect placement for a 6-8 hr fishing float. The house is always immaculate and Gary is super responsive. We will be coming back til we can’t do it anymore if he will have us!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024This was a perfect house for our family getaway. Everyone had their own room with king size beds. The house was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The only complaint - not really complaint, but just be prepared. If you are going to prepare meals at the house, there was no way to store any leftovers. No foil, baggies or cling wrap. We had to make an unexpected trip to the store. Overall, it was a 10/10!
