River Life at it's Best

The house was great and Jason was good about communicating all the particulars. House was clean. Deck was amazing to sit and relax.

Amazing and beautiful location. Jason was fantastic ro work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach area in the back was a great place to hang out. The house was furnished with everything we needed and more. We would definitely book again.

This was part 2 of our vacation stay. House is spacious and really little kiddo friendly ( although we didn't have little ones; ie: baby gates, pack and play, high chair, plastic plates and bowls). Right on the water, large driveway, clean. Kitchen had most of what you need (tuperware would be an added bonus). Extra supplies were very appreciated!! House is as listed, 3 bedrooms, master is an open concept loft space, lots of room, yard, game room in the garage. We enjoyed our stay.

Great host communication! Beautiful river views. Everything we needed for a quiet family retreat. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Awesome river views

This is a good VRBO.Pros: 1. Great location on the river. 2. Beautiful views. 3.Excellent host communication. 4. Easy check in.Cons: 1. Unit was a bit dirty -- lots of spider webs and dead bugs. 2. Main suite does not have central air / heat. Portable cooling unit that took many hours to cool the room. 3. Host does not want you to wear shoes in unit. Not a problem for us since that is what we do at home but should be clearer in description.

Great setting on Illinois river. Underestimated natural beauty. Sunrises, moon rises. Amazing bird habitat. White pelicans abound right now. Barges slowly cruising by.

It was all we hoped for anymore. Very roomy, comfortable and clean.

Had a fantastic week staying here with our party of 6. Plenty of room for everyone to get comfy and a fantastic game area in the garage/first floor. Each evening we were able to relax out on the wrap around patio overlooking the river. The property was well equipped to make our stay comfortable and the communication with the host was excellent. Thank you for having us.

It was amazing. The house was very clean and neat everything we needed. Was there no complaints here the owner was wonderful to work with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were in town for my son’s baseball tournament. This home was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had everything to accommodate our family. Would definitely stay again!

Loved the house. It was very clean and well kept. Owner was great. My kids loved playing darts and the billiard table. Loved the views of the river and big deck. Only regret was the weather wasn’t a little warmer to enjoy the deck more. Would definitely stay here again.

The photos in the listing do not do this property justice. It is very clean, comfortable and has all you would need to feel right at home! You can tell the family who owns it takes pride in caring for others. The river offers a unique mix of soothing water sounds, friendly little wildlife and the occasional traveling barge. Whatever you might need is a short distance away, but you are far enough away in a very quiet neighborhood.

The property was just as advertised. Upon arrival we were very appreciative of the garage, as it was raining that evening, and it was great to be able to unpack the vehicles inside. The view of the river from the deck was great. We did not spend a lot of time at the house, as we were visiting relatives in the area, but that would have been a very nice place to relax and unwind at the end of the day for anyone that would be spending more of their time at the home. This would definitely be my first choice to check out again for a stay in this area.

Enjoyed the river views and barge traffic while staying warm and cozy indoors. Perfect size for a family of four. Close to grocery but remote enough to have a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Jason was a good communicator and responsive when needed.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect. The pictures on the APP were spot on. It was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the views of the river and seeing bald eagles fly by every morning. It was spectacular. We will definitely be back for another stay.

This is our second time staying and we are already planning our spring getaway here as well. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay
