The space
Here, amidst this picturesque landscape along the water’s edge, discover a sanctuary where time finds its pace, and life’s true essence reveals itself.

The house boasts an intimate 350 square feet setting that belies the vastness of tranquility and escape it offers. Imagine yourself cocooned on the king-sized bed, gazing upon the gentle flow of the babbling river—here, peace assumes colossal proportions.

Mornings unfold graciously, adorned by the sights of birds soaring, trees swaying, graceful blue herons, and the playful antics of forest creatures. Surrender to the soothing ambiance, where the river's perpetual rhythm becomes a part of you.

Step outside and follow the short path of stairs leading to the riverbank, a sanctuary inviting you to rejuvenate and immerse in nature's bounty. Evenings at the waterfront are a spectacle, where a glowing fire under a star-studded canopy awaits.

Designed for comfort, That Tiny House on the River comfortably accommodates two individuals in its king-sized bed. Ideal for those seeking solace and disconnection, it amply hosts a maximum of two guests at any time.

Despite its proximity to the Manistee National Forest, modern comforts like WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen for two, a full bathroom, and a 55-inch television ensure a seamless blend of nature and contemporary living. At That Tiny House on the River, the choice to immerse in nature or unwind with an evening movie is yours to make.

That Tiny House on the River comes ready with kayaks and safety vests for your river expeditions. The Big Sable River, renowned for brown trout fishing, beckons adventure seekers. For those seeking solitude, perch at the dock's edge, dipping your feet into the crisp, flowing water or wade through the river, exploring its natural wonders.

Indulge in some sportsmanship in the generous yard, outfitted with a fire pit, classic Adirondack seating, and a disc golf basket. Or unwind and savor the crisp, invigorating air on the hammock tucked gently in the shadows of the trees.

Just across the street, a private trail awaits, guiding you through woods adorned with majestic 50-foot White Cedars and Eastern Hemlocks, indigenous to Michigan. Pause at the Nature Nook, indulging in the forest's symphony—a melody often lost in the hustle of our everyday lives.

Venture a mere 15 minutes northward to Manistee, a town where time embraces leisure and moments deepen in significance. Sample locally distilled lavender-infused wine, wander through charming downtown shops, or witness the breathtaking sunset at First Street Beach.

Heading south leads to Ludington, a city offering diverse experiences—from sandy beaches and outdoor adventures to vibrant shopping and exquisite dining.

Great location on the river at the end of a quiet private lane! 5min walk to Doc's bar/restaurant. 5min drive from Orchard Market. 15-20min drive to Manistee, Ludington, Lake Michigan Host was very communicative when needed. The large fenced yard was AWESOME for our dogs. Bnb accommodations were A. Thank you! We will be back!

It was the perfect fall cozy weekend getaway! The large fenced in yard was excellent for my old dog who loves to wander off leash. Beautiful and serene area. The host was friendly and prompt in responses. Would love to stay again in the future!

Steve & Josh have a really nice space. If you wish to travel with your dog, they have the BEST fencing around the property to keep your pup safe. I was able to get to Manistee and Ludington easily. Two fire pits and a picnic table are available as well.

Me and my wife had a nice enjoyable and relaxing time staying at the Tiny House that was very tastefully built and decorated from the inside decor and accommodations to the natural setting sitting on the front porch or dock chairs of the river directly in the front of this property or having a private fire at night near the river dock. We are very familiar to the area and there is no shortage of things to do for all ages between Manistee and Ludington and the beaches are always a summertime favorite for us...Pure Michigan! The host were very welcoming and always responded quickly for any information prior to arrival or during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future. Thank You Steve & Josh

I recently lost my momma and I decided I needed a weekend to get away and to find some peace in my chaotic life with my brat dogs. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go or what I needed to heal myself until I found this tiny home. Steve and Josh allowed me to bring both my brats. The fenced in yard is huge and a relief knowing that I wouldn’t have to worry about them escaping. Everything about this tiny home was perfect and as described. Steve and Josh were quick to answer any questions I had and guided me to a beach that allowed my dogs so that we could roam and be free with the water. Sitting on the dock and watching the water just flow by was breathtaking and so peaceful. This tiny home definitely helped heal some of the heartache I have been enduring over the loss of my momma. If you’re looking for solitude and peace this is definitely the place to be and you can’t go wrong. I will definitely be returning soon but for a much longer stay. I imagine fall is just as beautiful there. Can’t wait to return with my brats again and it says something when your dogs don’t wanna leave and go home when they are always ready for a car ride. But they definitely weren’t after we got to this tiny home. Thank you Steve and Josh
