River and Ocean View. Single level home, fun for all ages! Fenced yard for dogs!

We had a great stay. Enjoyed the beautiful view and walked on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay in Yachats, beautiful views, beautiful weather. It was great. The house was fabulous, there isn't anything that comes to mind that I would recommend to change about the property. Five stars from us!

I am having a difficult time figuring out the best rating for our experience with this property. In some respects... location, cleanliness, the amenities that came with the house.... the score is excellent. But there are a few what I would describe as issues. Overall, my husband and I, and our small dog, enjoyed our stay very much. AMAZING views and wildlife. The people and their dogs playing on the sand by the river were MORE than entertaining.It looked to us like there had been a lot of recent updates and improvements to the house... carpeting, appliances, countertops, two really nice tv's. But... There was no mention anywhere in the description of the house of the ten stairs that need to be navigated to reach the front door... or the dozen or so stairs from the back yard to the deck. Our dog is old and so are we... He had to be carried up and down the stairs. There was no lighting on the back yard stairs and poor lighting on the front. Hard to carry a dog, a flash light, and keep your balance. I suggest including info about the stairs in the advertising rather than the misleading One level living description. Additionally, the sliding glass door needs work. It is extremely hard to move back and forth on the track. We could barely move it. The screen with this door had several large vertical rips. There were a few other problems but as I have already said, it is a great house in a fantastic location. So we chose to overlook the negatives.

This home has a spectacular panoramic view of the bay where the Yachats River meets the Pacific. Diverse assortment of sea birds, too! Easy access to beach and fine dining just around the corner! The house is clan, comfy, roomy and the kitchen had an ample supply of cookware.

This was our 4th time to stay at this property, and it was excellent as always! The house is clean, comfortable, well stocked and has a fantastic location. We’re looking forward to our next trip already!

This property is like a home away from home. It’s cozy & welcoming. Perfect for a family that has a bunch of teenagers that want to play board games & run down to the beach! Pet friendly which makes it perfect for the whole family to join in the fun!

We had a great time. Perfect location within walking distance to downtown. Fenced in yard for the dogs and access to a very nice, dog friendly beach, right on the yachats river. Beds were very comfortable and great family room to watch Netflix as a family. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Within walking distance of the town of Yachats, our family enjoyed walks thru town and the nearby attractions. We definitely would recommend this property to friends and family!

Chose this place as it had 3 bedrooms, the reviews saying the kitchen was well stocked, and the amazing location of being at the mouth of the river as it dumps into the ocean. Best vrbo I’ve ever had! Seeing the ever changing tide and swell of the river was exquisite entertainment and education for teen grandkids. We will be back!!

Lovely kid and pet friendly house. Great views. Kitchen has every amenitie you would every want. The house does have stairs leading into the house. This was not mentioned in the listing.

This was our third time staying at this property. Amazing as always. Clean, comfortable and very well stocked. Wonderful view and wildlife watching. A lovely place to enjoy the Oregon coast!

This was our second stay at this property and we’ve already booked it again. Wonderful location, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is newly updated with beautiful counter tops and a new sink. The house is very well stocked. Nikki, the host, is very responsive and helpful with any question. Perfect spot to enjoy the Oregon coast.

Very nice and clean. Enjoyed seeing otters, seals and salmon swim by. It does need more handicap accessories as it was trying at times, especially the shower. Could use also an update for the TP. I never stayed at any place that had such cheap, see through toilet paper. Kitchen had everything you could think of.

This wonderful rental was just what my sister and I needed. The view is amazing; it is so cool to have both the river and the ocean RIGHT there. The interior is lovely, clean and cozy with having enough room for a bigger group. It's often not possible to get a rental with a fenced yard that is beach front- it makes it much more relaxing to travel with a pup. The location is also amazing- you are a hot spit from all the adorable Yachats has to offer, as well as a great jumping out in to wilderness or taking day trips to Florence and Newport. Can;t say good enough things about this place and grateful Nikki shares this wonderful place!

I gave my family a getaway for Christmas 2024 we stayed October 2024 we I lucky enough to snag this property with freshwater river feeding into the ocean.. we seen baby otters playing in the water so cute and fun. My family absolutely loved our stay and looking forward to returning.perfect for humans and fur babies.

Great beach for the Dog!. Walk to town for coffee or Wine!

MY WIFE & I & OUR DAUGHTER & SON- IN- LAW STAYED AT THE SURF VIEW HOME FOR FIVE NIGHTS DURING AUGUST, & IT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE & SPECIAL EXPERIENCE ALL OF US HAVE HAD OF ANYPLACE WE HAVE EVER BEEN. YOU COULD LOOK OUT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE & SEE THE OCEAN & BEACH JUST STEPS AWAY. ALSO THE HOUSE WAS EQUIPPED & STOCKED WITH PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING YOU WOULD NEED. SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS TIME. I will definitely stay here again. The close proximity to Yachats allowed us to be able to walk to town and not have to worry about parking. Even though it's located near the101 HWY, we were not impacted from the HWY noise. This house overlooks the river and inlet to the ocean. We had amazing birding opportunities from both the living room and dinning room. Honestly, I didn't want to leave.

The home is beautiful and the location across the Ocean and bay are stunning. We had our entire family (2 adults, 4 kids under 10 y/o) stay and we had a blast. This is the most well maintained and stocked vacation rental we've ever experienced. Thanks for an amazing visit!
