Riley's Retreats Cottage - Cosy Mountain Cottage

This was a lovely old home restored for modern living!

Riley’s retreats cottage had everything we needed and close shops and national parks.

Riley’s retreat was a great place to base ourselves for exploring the Blue Mountains. Close to main attractions and supermarket down the road. Easy check in and out of Riley’s, comfortable and warm cottage.

We are return visitors to this great little spot. Toasty warm inside, well appointed and a very quiet location. We will be back.

Such a clean and well presented property! Suited our family of four perfectly. Will stay there again.

The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need, super convenient location

The house is very comfortable and area is quiet. We had a very nice stay. The walk to city center is 15-20 min and uphill. No problem but something to be aware of. Great location overall. The neighboring house is right next to this one and there is a separate vacation unit on the property. Neither of these were known when we reserved. No one was in either but it would likely have been less private if they had been.

Great location for a weekend in Katoomba with our two young kids.

Wonderful stay. The location was brilliant. The hosts set the gas fire place before we got there so that despite the cold we arrived in, the arrival was super cosy.

Pleasant cottage close to town centre.

I had a short mountain break with my mother aunty and sister. The place was lovely with charm and country appeal.Beds were exceptionally comfortably. Bathroom was up-to-date. There were instructions for everything except the oven. The oven didn't work (we wanted to heat up frozen pastry items).

Everything we needed for our 2-night family stay. Walking distance to main street and many attractions. Clean and tidy.

This house is in a lovely secluded spot, close to town. We enjoyed the bush next door, the verandah, plenty of space, the shower and the comfy bed.

My partner and I found this cottage to be cozy, well appointed and comfortable. It was a superb base to venture out from to explore various hiking trails in the Blue Mountains and to return to in the evening.

Great little property in nice quiet location, but still close to Town centre. Deck is a nice touch and property big enough for family of four. Only minor gripe would be instructions re use of gas fire in the main room. It really pumps out the heat and would have been good to be able to switch on and off as weather/needs changed rather than having on all the time.

We had a lovely little stay at the cottage, the place was very warm on arrival for us and the afternoon sun makes for a beautiful relaxing break on the verandah or inside by the fire. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend with our toddler, and absolutely loved it! Close to everything, quiet, warm, and well cared for. Would happily stay again!

The cottage was beautifully warm for our arrival on a chilly winter day. The property was clean and comfortable and we look forward to visiting again for a weekend (sans kids!). Love the fireplace in the master bedroom.

Stayed several nights mid winter - cottage was warm and comfortable despite the weather outside. Combustion stove does a great job!

Excellent little pad, tucked away in the corner of a quite street. Easy walking distance the Katoomba shops, and also only a small stroll to Katoomba Falls (15 mins) and Scenic World (20 mins). Loved the cosy lounge and dining space which was perfect for chilling to watch a film (with a glass of wine) or play a card game or two. Would definitely book again.

Thank you so much for having the heating on upon arrival, so welcoming. The bar heaters in the bedrooms & underfloor heating in the bathroom made it so you never felt cold. Cute little sunlit cottage, super clean & good layout with a great view out the back. I really felt at home & would book again.
