Stayed Feb 15, 2019Really enjoyed staying here. The property is very comfortable and secure, with everything you need and direct access to Riambel beach. Housekeeper is great - really helpful and a wonderful cook if you don't want to eat out all the time or cook yourself. Riambel is a quiet but friendly residential area where things get slightly more lively at the weekends when Mauritians head to the beach. The surrounding villages/towns are also residential rather than tourist spots but much quieter and cleaner than the cities. Having been to the more touristy areas on previous visits (and enjoyed them), we really liked staying here for something a bit different. There was easy access to all the activities in the South West around Le Morne and the national park, a range of great public beaches (e.g St Felix) and plenty of good places to eat! And it's easier enough to travel to other parts of the island in a hire car.
