If you’ve spent your summers staying at a Kiwi-bach, recalling those holiday memories brings with it a big dose of Kiwi nostalgia. Come and relive those simple, care-free holidays at Retro Beach Vibes, an original 1953 cottage located in central Mt Maunganui with shops, restaurants & pubs around the corner and the beach a stone’s throw away. The fully fenced large section is a great space for a relaxing family getaway enjoying outdoor games with the kids andthe family dog.



The Space:

Retro Beach Vibes offers a generous lounge with a heatpump/ airconditioning unit for comfort during the hot summer or colder winter months. The TV has freeview and with your own login you can access Netflix for movie nights or enjoy family fun with a selection of boardgames.



Whip up your holiday favourites in the original retro-kitchen which does not have a dishwasher, that's the family-bonding time. The kitchen/dining opens on to the backyard with outdoor furniture. Located in the backyard is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, an outdoor shower with hot water (perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach) and there even is a separate toilet outside– very convenient to pop in there when the need arises during outdoor play.



After a day of fun, retreat to the two bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and an adjacent study room for those needing to do some work. Bedroom two sleeps three guests on 2 single beds and a king single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower bath, toilet and basin.

Please note the property is located in Central Mount Maunganui, close to shops and restaurants. There is potential for noise from vehicles and people. The fence on the driveway side backs on to the service lanes of some businesses.



Other Things to Note:

PETS: Two well behaved dogs over 1 year old are welcome. Pets are to be kept off furniture and beds and not left unattended.

COMMERCIAL LINEN SERVICE and towels (except beach towels) are included in the cleaning fee.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE: Parties and unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited.

NOISE: Please note that there is potential for noise, especially during peak summer periods due to proximity to Maunganui road with the shops and restaurants. A new property is being constructed over the back fence, but there is separation by the large backyard and the outbuildings.
