❤Retro 90s Vibe+Firepit+Hammocks❤

Our stay at this property is one of the best stays we’ve had. Not only was it decorated in such a cute way, it was cozy and the perfect place to lay our head at night. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking and running around Joshua Tree. Watched the sun set from the swing chairs and it truly was beautiful. Would definitely come back to this property.

Great stay at the house. It has ample space for a 3 or person group. It's like staying at a home away from home. The hot tub is the best place to star gaze and stay warm in the desert night.

It was a nice stay. Needs a little maintenance here and there but good overall

This place definitely has potential to be great. We really loved the 90s theme and overall space. However, we did run into a few issues while staying here. While we loved that the space had a washer/dryer, the closet it was inside of smelled horrible. The smell became worse when we used the hot water in the shower (the water tank was in the same closet). We kept the closet door closed for our entire stay because of the smell. It did make our stay slightly unpleasant, especially because of its close proximity to the bed. We also found the bed to be pretty uncomfortable. The shower liner was yellow and stained along the bottom, and the water took quite awhile to heat up. We also experienced a pretty annoying flickering light above the dining table. Lastly, the internet was terrible despite restarting the router. While the space mostly worked for our needs, there’s definitely room for improvement. The most disappointing part of this experience was when we reached out to the owner about the awful smell in the closet during our stay. We were told that they would reach out closer to our check out, which they did not. I reached out again, and we were told that the issue needed to be investigated by their grounds team, and then they would get back to us. They did not. So I reached out (once again), and we were quickly told that their team found nothing related to the smell. There was no attempt to make the situation right on their end. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything about this listing was amazing for a short getaway from the city. I definitely would book this again. Far enough from the main road but close enough to get in and out when needed. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this property and wonderful host to anyone visiting the Joshua Tree area.

Love the decor and the view of the stars

Property is well put together with all the amenities inside and out in great condition and go with its 90's theme. We had an enjoyable time staying here with our 13 year old daughter. Plenty of room for two kids and two adults as well. We will stay here again. We highly recommend it as it's very close to entrance of Joshua Tree Park Entrance as well and convenient to restaurants.

A great and central location for many activities throughout the valley. Was easily able to get to the national park and to Pioneer town for a concert without any difficulty. It’s in a neighborhood, but feels very private and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking in the park.

Excellent and prompt communication via platform, pre-arrival and during stay. The internet can be iffy even with rebooting the equipment but that also just may be the general area. Very clean with memory foam based beds. Good option with 2-small kids under 10-years old. Close to Joshua Tree VC and good option if visiting the park.

My wife and I have always wantes to visit Joshua Tree and we had an amazing stay that met all our expectations. It was a great jump off point for everything we wanted to do in the area and gave us a nice clean and quiet place to return to to relax and recharge our batteries. The highlight for us was really the ability to gonoutside at night and gaze at the stars. It was easy to get lost in the night sky.

My husband and I enjoyed the 90s theme. The home was clean and organized. Our children loved the mini arcade. Unfortunately due to weather we could not enjoy the hot tub or fire pit. Definitely would come back and stay here again.

Everything was so streamlined and easy-to-use. The combination of the communication from the host and the Hostfully app really made the entire experience a breeze. I would definitely stay again.

Firstly, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The decor was very cute and it had all the amenities I needed. Though I really only spent time there for sleeping, I felt safe and was very comfortable. The hot tub at night was a big bonus. I turned off all the outdoor lights and enjoyed the night sky after a long day of travel and hiking. The link I was sent for the stay was fantastic and I checked out a few recommendations that were included. Host was very communicative. No issues at all.

We loved staying in the 90's Haus! My son said to me while there that is was the best place ever! As someone who grew up in the 90's it was nostalgia at its best, I was pretty stoked I remembered to take a game that my son got for Xmas that I used to play when I was a kid. We played it on the picnic table in front of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air mural and had some great bonding moments! (Happy to provide the pic if hosts would like!) Most things about the space were fine, plenty of utensils and towels etc....but it was quite difficult to get hot water (just took quite a while!) and considering the high cleaning fee I did feel that the strict cleaning requirements before leaving were a bit too much.

Overall it has a great vibe with 90's feel throughout. The hot tub and outdoor spaces were very nice and clean. Inside was clean and perfect size for home base and leisure between trips to Joshua tree Park and other sites. Only complaint it was kind of chilly overnight with limited heat source...but it is January so bundled up for bed and was good

This place is absolutely adorable and just minutes away from the park entrance. We will book again when back in Joshua Tree and recommend to our friends. The private hot tub was perfect after a day on the trails along with the private fire pit. The rental was quiet and peaceful and kitchen fully loaded to prepare our meals, and a washer and dryer for our hiking clothes.

Nice place to stay while visiting Joshua Tree NP. Location is good. House has everything needed for a nice vacation. Close to restaurants and store. Good communication with the host.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The room was very clean, cozy, and welcoming. The host went above and beyond to make our trip special they even helped me set up a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend. The setup was beautiful, thoughtful, and well worth the price. It really made our stay memorable and added such a personal touch that we’ll never forget. We also appreciated the amenities, especially the hot tub, which made for a relaxing evening. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a host who truly cares about their guests’ experience. :)

Had a peaceful stay in the desert. Bed was wonderful, AC was cool, and I felt safe which is important to me. Also, I had no problem with the wifi which has been a problem for me on other trips to the desert.

My partner and I were so impressed when we arrived at the property — it wasn’t like any other place we’ve been to. The retro vibe and mini arcade games made it such a fun and unique experience! On top of that, I got engaged during this trip, and the hot tub under the stars made the moment even more magical. We spent the night reflecting on the engagement in the beautifully lit backyard, with string lights creating the perfect ambiance. It was truly an unforgettable stay.Communication with the host was excellent — she was incredibly kind and responsive. We’ll definitely be staying here again. Honestly, it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at — if not the best!
