Retro 1940's Libretto Cottage on 12 Acres

We came up for a weekend stay to participate in the Spartan Race and see some sites like the Madonna Inn and Hearst Castle. We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet, picturesque, easy to get to, and had almost every accommodation we required except a toaster.

The Olive Tree Cottages were a lovely stay for a small group. Welcoming and helpful hosts, plus beautiful views just a 15 min hike from the back yard!

I spent 5 nights at Tim and Hayley's cottage. They are great hosts. They do all the little thungs that often go unnoticed, but set this pace apart from other vacation rentals. This place is so charming, peaceful and quiet. I don't know how to say it other than it has SOUL. It just has this vibe that put's you at ease. It was exactly the experience I was looking for in a gettaway. Close to friends in the area and all the things to do on the Central Coast and yet removed enough to relax. I'm already looking at my calendar to see when I can return. Thank you Hayley and Tim!

Rustic and charming cottage, accessible to beaches and Edna Valley wine region. Well stocked. Lots of homey touches. We saw deer on the hill behind the cottage.

While only minutes from SLO, Libretto cottage sits on a hill overlooking fields and trees. I felt at home as soon as we walked in. The hosts live next door, but respected our privacy. I visit my daughter and grandsons who live in Los Osos a few times a year. This cottage is now my go-to rental. Whether wanting to experience all the amenities of the central coast towns, beaches, and wineries or just to sit quietly with a book under a tree, visitors will enjoy staying in this cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay in the adorable Libretto Cottage. The hosts were very friendly and responsive - and they added many special touches to make their guests comfortable. We hope to return in the future! :)

A+ mgmt, care of daily needs! Loved the donut shop close by….great breakfast sandwiches and donuts!

The Libretto cottage was exactly as described in the listing. Owners nearby and in close communication for any possible need. 1940's cottage was decorated with taste and functionality. Everything you need is here! A lit trail begins at back of property with the view of Edna Valley your reward at the top. No A/C but nights were cool and windows open keep temps comfortable. Bed comfortable and futon comfortable as well. Relaxing and quiet but 4 miles to the beach and the 101 for easy travel north and south. Wine country nearby. So much to do; so little time! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the property for a short stay. We would stay again!
