Cleanest house ever stayed in. Good location. Love the neighborhood. Loved staying here
We had a very fun week. Very clean when we arrived. Everything i hoped for as farcas views and on the water
Excellent location and nice neighborhood. only downside was the coverings on all the windows were see through. Would suggest the owner put privacy blinds up especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Very relaxing , cheerful, and comfortable It was perfect!
Extremely nice and clean house. Was nice to have access to all that was offered with this house. Beaufort is a beautiful area and had a nice time with family.
The house is a beautiful costal home located on a tidal pond with Core Sound access. Everything about the home was top notch. The only two things to be aware of is the central room doesn't have much sound dampening which means if you have a large family with small children it tends to be hard to hear. The other is the wonderful light which I appreciated but for late sleepers might be an early awakener. The house, however was amazing and such a blessing. We didn't bring binoculars, but if your into wildlife you definitely want to include them in your packing. I would definitely give it a five star rating and recommend it to my friends. We may try to get it again in the future.
We had the best time on vacation. The house was perfect. Clean and everything they said it would be. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Walking out to see water and all the waterfowl was peaceful. Thank you for a great stay with great memories I can take with me. Will be booking for My and September 2023.
This was a great location for our annual Brother’s week. The steps were a bit hard on the five of us averaging age of 72, but we were aware of the steps before I booked the home. We all felt the space was really made for us and the only drawback of the place was the lack of an Iron. If not for our rule of not visiting the place twice, we would book this location again.
Our family of 4 came in on Sunday and our friends who are also a family of 4 came in on Wednesday. As soon as I walked in the door Sunday, I was smiling ear to ear. It was sooooo beautiful. I had no words. lol This will be our vacation house going forward. When we arrived it was very windy but had been told by locals that it had been that way almost all summer. I will say that the windy was very gusty as time but made for a very relaxing porch sitting (no mosquitos), when the wind isn't blowing expect them to bite (that's no matter where you are lol). We didn't get to try out the Kayaks because we weren't sure if we could make it back against the wind lol. Hopefully next time we can try! We brought our boat and used the boat lift but sadly we didn't get to utilize it like we hopes as the tides just don't allow easy access at low-tide. It's not far from the public boat ramp so it was never an issue. We loved everything about this house and have no complaints about anything. We can't thank you enough for being so kind to open up your home to us and even more so that we get to share the beauty of this place with you. We will be booking soon for our trip next year and can't wait to be back already!
The house was a great place for my family to stay. It is not super close to the beach, but a short drive takes you to a ferry for Cape lookout, or to Atlantic beach. A few things that you should know, the house is really bright. This is a plus, but it also meant my kids were awake really early with the sun. I suggest a sleep mask for mornings if you like to sleep in. The sound also carries through the house really well, so if you are bringing kids who like to play keep in mind that it's not going to be super quiet because you can hear them through the whole house. Those were the only drawbacks, and by far they weren't that bad, I just want others to be aware. We were very surprised at how bright the house was in the morning. The house itself was so beautiful and relaxing. Lots of wildlife all around. There was a nest of ospreys right in the backyard, and a gorgeous sunset. We spent most evenings drinking our tea on the balcony watching the birds and wildlife in the bright pink sunset. It was the perfect way to relax. It was in a somewhat secluded area, few neighbors and they were very quiet. I felt very safe taking my daily exercise run down the road, which was about a half mile one way (a bit less than one mile out and back.) We would usually go out in the morning and have an adventure- the horses or beach at Cape lookout and shackelford, Atlantic beach, ft Macon, or the aquarium etc, and then come back to the house for a relaxing evening by dinner. The kitchen was great, very roomy with all the equipment my husband and I needed to make dinner most nights. For groceries there's a food lion in Beaufort and a small mom and pop type grocery that is right on the way to the Cape lookout ferry (not a huge selection of products, but very very friendly people/owners!) In all it was just the vacation we were looking for.
The house is spacious and well stocked, including kayaks that can be used. The views of birds, water, sunsets and sunrises are memorable - don't forget your binoculars. Nice big yard where children can run and play games.
the house was perfect. very clean and ken and michelle were easily accessible if we had problems we could message them. i definitely recommend and would stay again ❤️
We really enjoyed the home, very clean, nicely furnished, and very roomy. Has great views of the sunrise and sunset. It’s also in a nice quiet neighborhood. However we were disappointed in the limited water access. It’s okay for a kayak, but for a boater the location is really accessible at high tides only, and I think that should be mentioned in the description.
