Stayed Oct 4, 2022Our friends visiting from Europe needed a place to stay while visiting us in Baltimore. They have already said they'd like to stay here again when they come back next time. Our hosts were terrific - very responsive and professional, even letting us know that there would be a block party one day during our friends visit, to help us anticipate parking. The weather changed the day we arrived and so the house felt cold but as soon as we reached out to the host they adjusted the thermostat on their phone app and the place was nice and toasty. The house itself is exactly as in the images - very nicely renovated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is exceptional as are the bathrooms (with nice fluffy towels), the beds super comfortable, and a really nice living room area for relaxing/sitting, as well as nice small outdoor area too. The street is super narrow, one way, but we actually never had a problem finding parking on either side of the street. Patterson Park is super close and a great place to walk and run; and a nice walk down to Fells Point and the harbor. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Stayed Sep 12, 2022PLUSES: - nice-sized rain shower head - gas stove - good knives for a rental - bright and cheery MINUSES - dishes and kitchenware grimy/dusty on arrival - central air doesn't cool upstairs well; window units loud - kitchen could use some additional stocking - isolated neighborhood - required insurance purchase should be better disclosed - dog next door barks a LOT This is a charming renovation of an old row house. Parking can be as easy as in front of the door, or as inconvenient as several blocks away - depends on your luck. The only things in proximity to this house are Patterson Park, which is lovely, and one pub. So if you're hoping to walk to cafes, eateries, or other attractions, this is not a great location. It's a fairly quick drive to grocery stores though, if you want to cook. Neighborhood seemed fairly safe. The kitchen looks just as nice in person as in the pictures. I loved that they had a gas stove. I wished that the dishes were as clean as the house. Some glassware is on exposed shelves, so if people don't use it and wash it, it accumulates dust and grime really easily. I would recommend having the housekeeper run everything through the dishwasher (with soap!) at least once a month. A lot of the kitchenware inside cabinets was also grimy - possibly other people aren't washing things thoroughly before they put them away. It didn't take me long to clean anything that needed it before I used it, but it was disappointing to have to do it. You could also use one larger pan with a lid. Lids are so important! There was not a lid large enough to fit the large pan that was there. For a listing that is very kitchen-forward in the photos, I was a little surprised at all of this. It's great that they have a window AC unit in each bedroom, because you definitely need it. They are unavoidably loud, though, so that's a bit of a bummer. The barking dog next door was also a bummer - for a short stay, no big deal, but after a while it got old. Finally, the owner will require you to purchase an insurance policy, or pay a hefty deposit (which the website cannot guarantee will be returned). I bought the policy, which I imagine is what most people do. I completely understand the desire to protect an investment, but between all the fees, my final price was more than $100 per night more than the list price. That's too big a difference. With improvements and a more honest up-front price, this would be 5 stars.

Stayed Jul 29, 2022This home is incredible! Everything was absolutely perfect. The interior design was a dream and it’s stocked with everything needed. The back porch is great to enjoy coffee and yoga in the morning before exploring the city. It’s in a really great location too - walking distance from a really nice park and food. The neighborhood felt super safe and is very well lit with cute lights. Highly highly recommend!!

Stayed Aug 5, 2022Start to finish, everything was as it should be. Kitchen was phenomenal and we cooked 4 meals there during our stay, really was so great. Grocery store 1 mile away ($8 Uber) open til midnight. We stayed for moonrise and it was a dream to get back to, central air, plus window units, laundry came in handy after walking all day. Gorgeous bathroom, and of course two nice sized bedrooms (we just used one for clothes) Sorry about any glitter we tried to get it all they basically spray you with it at the festival ? all in all, amazing place I wouldn’t wanna stay anywhere else in Baltimore.

Stayed Jun 17, 2022True to the pictures, everything is neat, clean, and well decorated. Very comfortable living. The stairs could be challenging for older folks. Found plenty to do in Baltimore and its environs; Fell's Point was our favorite nearby hangout. Parking worked just fine.

Stayed Jul 5, 2022For the past year my Wife has had appointments/treatments at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Each time we needed to stay overnight for at least one night. Every hotel we tried was a disappointment. This place is perfect! The neighborhood is quiet, the apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. This will be our place to stay whenever we need to make the trip. Many thanks!!!
