Stunningly positioned on the border of Deception Pass State Park near the northern tip of Whidbey Island, this three-bedroom home offers spectacular views of Skagit Bay, Hope Island, and the Cascade Mountains in the distance.
This unique home sits on a quarter-acre of land that backs up to Washington's most beloved state park. You can access 11 miles of trails that connect to Hoypus Point just outside the back door, and find great beachcombing, fishing, and clamming at Ala Spit County Park half a mile down the road. Enjoy unbeatable access to the iconic Deception Pass Bridge (five miles), NAS Whidbey (five miles), and downtown Oak Harbor (10 miles).
The property provides the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience, whether that means watching the sun come up over Mt. Baker, spotting bald eagles from the lawn, or barbecuing on the covered deck overlooking the bay. In the evenings, soak in the private hot tub and count the stars in the brilliant night sky.
The two-story interior has been beautifully remodeled and maintained, with a reverse floor plan and walls of windows that maximize the view. The open living space upstairs is wonderful for socializing, with the spacious kitchen offering a French-door refrigerator, double ovens, a gas range, and a prep island. Sit down for breakfast in the built-in kitchen nook. The dining room table is a great space for evening board games before relaxing with your favorite movies on the wall-mounted TV. A second living room downstairs features another TV and a comfortable sofa that needs only a good book. There is a secret children's alcove under the stairs.
Of the three bedrooms, one is a primary suite upstairs with its own sitting room and an attached bathroom. The other two bedrooms are downstairs, including one with a private office, perfect for remote workers and students knocking out those last-minute projects.

This home was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and equipped with everyone you’d need. The area is quiet and secluded but there were lots of activities within a short driving distance. Had a great long weekend here and looking forward to staying again in the future!
We loved every minute we were there! The views were spectacular from almost every room. The home was very comfortable to come to after our days out hiking and shopping. We hated leaving! We plan on staying here again. We left the homeowners a Lighthouse egg souvenir as a token of our appreciation to add to their collection.
This house has a beautiful view ! It is not designed for older folks as there are too many stairs and no hand railings. No grab bars in showers or by the toilets which are very low to the floor. You have to climb a narrow wooden stairway to get to the main door to get into the house. Then come all the way back down to the front door to let people in. Carpet in the downstairs area is in need of a good cleaning. Lots of spots. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped.
Spacious. Wonderful views. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with a view of the woods.
The property was walking distance to a public beach, and had great water views. It fit our family of 6 perfectly. It was clean, and had all amenities as described. The kitchen was stocked nicely for cooking and cleaning up. Would definitely stay again!!
Our trip was fantastic. The house is beautiful. The kitchen was our favorite part. The view is outstanding! The hot tub was very relaxing.
A nice house with great views. As others have noted, there are stairs. The property does not have air conditioning which is common in the area. It was quite warm our first couple days. The property manager did bring us out some fans though.
We really enjoyed our stay. Checking in was a bit confusing. It said to use the back door. There are 3 back doors all with key pads. We figured it out it was up the stairs. Beautiful views. Lots of wildlife in the area. Nice house.
It was perfect for our group. Hope to stay there again, next time we visit the area!
This property was great for what we needed. The views are amazing and the hot tub was a major plus. The house is off the beaten path but a quick car ride away from Deception Pass State Park, downtown Oak Harbor, Anacortes and the TULIPS. The house is well stocked for families...and those views from the bedrooms! The house does have an interesting floor plan that does require you to do stairs no matter what so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue.
The Lighthouse may be mis-named. It should be the Treehouse because out every window you see trees and feel like you're in one. The home is beautiful with an incredible view of Puget Sound facing east with Mount Baker framed in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed the large kitchen and master bedroom with distractingly beautiful views. And the TV downstairs is simply incredible and has me and my wife shopping for a Samsung now! The only negative is that there are a lot of stairs. Since my wife recently tore her meniscus, it would have been nice knowing about all the stairs before we arrived. But that's look hard for anything negative. We'd highly encourage anyway to call the Lighthouse a home away from home for a stay.
The house is wonderful. It’s a beautiful setting and when the house next door isn’t undergoing vent cleaning (obviously not the fault of ‘The Lighthouse’), it is peaceful and serene. It is spacious, but cozy at the same time. There are comfy seats by anyplace with a view, which is to say seats with a view aplenty. Great beds, great master bath with jetted tub. And the internet speeds were crazy fast, which I never expect to see at even a high end rental. The kitchen was stocked with the basics (though check those expiration dates every now and again!) and was a pleasure to work in. The area obviously is gorgeous and the house is backed up right against a leg of the Hoypus Trail. Could not possibly recommend it more. Five stars plus!!!
This is a very comfortable place to stay. Big kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely, dining room table for big meals, comfy couch for watching movies. The view is stunning and it is only a quick walk to the water or hiking right out the back door. We had a lovely time.
The view is exceptional. We had a sisters/mom trip. The kitchen is so spacious with room for all to help and well stocked with spices. Nice big dining table for meals and games. Comfy family room for movie time. We enjoyed our stay. Vacasa was so kind to let us back after checkout for a lost item. The stairs are a bit hard if you have any handicaps.
