Come stay awhile at our romanic yet family friendly cottage with private access to beach. Located on the north end of Whidbey, we are less than 10 min from Deception Pass and Coronet Bay.

Newly remodeled, some original finishes remain such as the interior doors and exposed shiplap. Driftwood possesses the perfect balance of modern comfort and timeless Whidbey charm. Listed below are just a few things you can look forward to during your stay at Driftwood Cottage:
Master bedroom has a king platform bed, Smart TV, alarm clock, sound machine and in-room claw foot tub.
Tiled tub/shower combination in the bathroom. Stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer under sink. New high efficiency washer and dryer with detergents and other laundry care provided.
Open concept living room and dining area as well as access to the deck. Beautiful electric wood stove, Smart TV, record player, books and lots of games. Dining area with farmhouse table as well as a live edge bar with stools and kitchen pass through.
Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, drink ware and utensils. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, oils and spices provided. Upon your arrival you’ll find a a coffee/tea/ station as well as refreshments and in the fridge for you to enjoy during your stay.
Enjoy the view on the deck equipped with outdoor chairs and propane grill.
Fire pit and Adirondack chairs down by the beach. Great spot to enjoy views of Mount Baker, eagles and other wildlife.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay @ this beautiful Whidbey Island driftwood cottage. This property was the perfect spot to spend time exploring Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands as well as the Tulip Festival in Skagit Valley. We did an amazing high speed whale watch with Blue Kingdom out of Anacortes and did tons of exploring of local parks. The property has beautiful views of a little bay and we were treated with no less than 5 Bald Eagles flying just in front of the house! We also got to see some really cool Navy jets in the vicinity doing flying drills. We loved the design and decor of this house - it was so cozy and a perfect space for our family of 4. Our daughters (12 & 10) loved the bunk room and voted the double bed the most comfortable bed ever! We all loved the thoughtful touches, ease of access, waterfront bay and snacks left by the owner. It was a wonderful stay we only wish we could have spent more time in this lovely home!

This is a newly remodeled, beautiful, and contemporary bay-side cabbin that is very thoughtfully furnished. What a good vacation rental find! Our young daughters enjoyed their first bunk bed experience (not to mention a luxuriously plush rug in the main living space!) The sunsets, changing tides, and local birds captivated us all. Located in a quiet little residential area, it was the perfect home base for our days spent exploring Deception Pass State Park. Weather was a bit too cold to use the fire pit this time, but hopefully we'll return!
