Stayed May 30, 2026This is a terrific property. We were a family of five that included a two and a half year old. We had everything we needed for a smooth transition into the home, easy access to beaches, parks and indoor activities if needed. Great communication with owner.Only “issue” is no AC. However it’s Jamestown, there is always a breeze and cooler in the evenings. The flush up toilet downstairs worked well, just noisy.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025The house was clean and well appointed. Property was neat and tidy. There was plenty of room for 5 adults, 1 infant and 2 small dogs. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy 10 minute walk to the neighborhood beach.

Stayed Jul 15, 2023We were in Rhode Island for a sports camp for our kids and decided to make a vacation of it. The house had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen. Great back yard and covered deck. Neighborhood was very nice. We walked to the beach area each day. The location was great for exploring areas around Rhode Island like Newport and Matunuck.

Stayed Aug 20, 2022After about 25 years elsewhere in Jamestown, this was a very happy vacation home. The house looks like a generic raised ranch, but it surprised us with its comfort and convenience.

Stayed Aug 13, 2022Jamestown is the perfect, quiet getaway spot and we really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. We particularly liked the deck with the view through the trees to the water. There is a small beach - Sunset Beach - within walking distance, but it's more of a viewing spot because the sand is covered with shells and there's a lot of seaweed. We drove the short distance to Mackerel Cove which had lifeguards and a bathroom and the swimming there was perfect.

Stayed Aug 21, 2021Clean comfortable stay in a lovely town! Within walking distance of small, dog friendly beach with pretty sunsets. Plenty of room to gather in the well-equipped home for games, dinner, catching up. Close to bridge access back to Narragansett beaches and restaurants or to explore Newport. Easy and prompt communication with very responsive homeowner. Overall, a great spot to relax with family!
