This Hamptons retreat is the perfect place to enjoy beaches, vineyards, apple picking, farm stands and all the east end has to offer. Located biking distance to both Westhampton and Quogue villages and beaches. The deep blue pool invites on a hot summer road and a nature preserve just down the road offers short hikes, trail runs and x-country skiing during winter.
Situated on a full acre, the house is surrounded by trees and adjacent to protected wetlands. There is an expansive lawn largeenough for a family football game or an afternoon of croquet. Close to town, but a private and natural setting.
This four bedroom Hamptons house has an upside-down layout (upstairs is the kitchen, half bathroom, dining and living room, downstairs are the bedrooms and two full bathrooms), large yard with expansive lawn and fenced-in pool. The upstairs area provides beautiful views of the trees' canopies giving you the feeling of living in a tree-house. The living area opens up to a beautiful terrace set up for dinners al fresco and lounging in. Downstairs there is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and en suite small bathroom, a guest room with two twin sized beds that can be joined into a king sized, a kids room with a crib, a toddler bed and a twin-sized bed that can be expanded to a king sized one and finally one home office with a queen-sized sleeping sofa. There is also a full bathroom downstairs with a washer-dryer. The house has plenty of toys, children's books in English and Spanish and a slide and swings for children.
This house is absolutely great for a convenient family vacation in the beach and the Hamptons. The kitchen is completely equipped with top brand appliances, there are three separate large dining areas so you can serve your meals in each one of them depending on your mood: cozy and formal in the dining room (table sits up to 10 people), casual and summery by the pool (table sits up to 8) or sophisticated al fresco in the terrace (table sits up to 6). The master bedroom has a small bathroom with a shower for the grown ups or for a quick rinse, while the family bathroom has a full sized bathtub for the kids. The guest room is comfortable for grandparents and the office has a pull out sofa perfect for a young couple or a nanny or au pair. The pool is totally fenced in and it has a nice lounge area and chaise-lounges to enjoy the summer days and it even has a small fridge and bar area to store snacks and drinks for convenient access. The house has a very expansive lawn yard perfect to run around and enjoy outdoor games. The house is also totally set up for grown ups with internet, Apple TV, Sonos sound system...
We have available on request two additional travel cribs available for little children, changing table, baby monitors, diaper pail, high chairs and all the comforts for the little ones and to make parents’ lives easier!
Guests have access to main house, property and pool (from Memorial Day to mid-Sept). There is a separate garage and second floor walkway to garage which is not accessible to guests.
Westhampton beach is a family friendly town with terrific boutiques, restaurants and performing arts center. Quogue is a small historic hamlet with gorgeous homes and a few small shops. Summer offers beaches, biking and boating. Fall has hiking, apple and pumpkin picking and harvest festivals. Winter offers x-country skiing and ice skating.
