Wet nice people. Felt like home. Thought of everything.
This is truly a home away from home. Susan has paid careful attention to the comfort of her guests, & we found we were surrounded by a warm, enjoyable space. The location is ideal, it’s located 5min. Away from downtown Golden, & there are many museums nearby. I would highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a special stay.
Great stay in Golden. Great view of the mountain from the front porch while drinking coffee in the mornings. Walking distance to the Golden Mill. Had a great time!
This cozy home was an ideal place for our Colorado vacation. Walking distance to downtown Golden and the shops/restaurants and convenient to travel and see Colorado's other sites (from Colo. Springs to Vail to Rocky Mtn. N.P.). Our hosts, Susan and Brandon, were attentive and made sure we had all that we needed to enjoy our first trip to Colorado!
Very nice house, close to good hiking trails. Walking distance to downtown Golden. Check-in was easy and quick and communication with owner was very good. Kitchen was well-stocked with spices for cooking, which I appreciated. Neighborhood is quiet. A comfortable stay.
This is a great property near the heart of downtown Golden - within walking distance. It is about 20 minutes to downtown Denver and just over an hour to Keystone and Breck. We were able to fit my spouse and me in the main bedroom and 3 college age boys in the remaining beds. The kitchen is well furnished with everything you’d need, the internet tv was fantastic, and they left little snack bowls for us. Susan was extremely responsive and was a complete dream to work with before and during our stay. When the propane tanks for the outdoor fire pits ran out, they made sure one was replaced that night. One of the boys had his snowboard and gear shipped to the house and Susan went out of her way to ensure it was received and put inside the house before we arrived. Just an all around great experience. We will definitely consider staying here again on our future visits to see our Mines Oredigger.
The owner stays in the basement. You could hear snoring. Not worth the price when you have to stay with a stranger.
Very very clean and well-stocked. there were small touches everywhere designed to make us feel welcome. Very responsive owners.
This is a truly unique wonderful VRBO. It is cozy and has so many amenities. The hosts have thoughtfully provided snacks and meals for the first night. This is greatly appreciated after a long trip. There are plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. Will stay here again soon!
Wonderful
We felt right at home! Everything we needed with so much more. It was so close to down town and the campus, what a great location! We loved our visit and would book again! We highly recommend! Great hosts!
We were visiting from VA on a 10 day trip. We do started off in Colorado Springs and then stayed in Golden for 5 nights. I received a text with info on events going on during our stay as soon as I booked our reservation. Check in was easy, communication was quick. There are snacks and coffee on hand, which came in handy. Some frozen food was also in freezer but we did not use. We went white water tubing and rented ebikes at Adventure West, and walked around town. Downtown is an easy walk from the house. We ate at Woody's Wood Fired Pizza, Colorado Plus 49 Cidery & Pub- good food and cider, and Goozell Yogurt & Coffee. We used the home as a base to venture around nearby as well and visited the Rocky Mountain National Park- which was awesome! You do need to book in advance- you need both an access pass for the time to enter the park as well as tickets- unless you have a park pass, which we do. You can book the Access Pass at 5:00pm the night before but you need to sign up for an account, and get on the website at 5:00 so you can pick your entry window. The passes go quickly. The only food in the park is at the cafe at the visitor center at the top so pack food. Locally, we also visited the local Mines Museum of Earth Science, Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks, and the Denver Nature and Science Museum. I would book here again. I did forget that there wasn't a washer and dryer so we did have to make a visit to the local laundromat in Lakeland, about 15 minutes away at Westland Coin Laundry.
This home has everything you could need for your visit. It has been thoughtfully outfitted, is clean and comfortable and sits in a great location. Several trails in the area, a ten minute walk to downtown Golden and convenient to the city and the mountains. We loved our time here and will be back!
Very easy
Great location to Golden. Also close to business that we had in in Lakewood.
Words can hardly describe how wonderful our experience was at this adorable mountain cottage. It was a perfect fit for our family of 5! Everything was in tip-top shape when we arrived and the owners had perfectly stocked the place with every imaginable thing we could have needed, plus some cozy, welcoming extras. The owners texted beforehand with tons of ideas for our trip and local events, then also kept in touch during our stay to answer every question we had! We LOVED the comfy beds and the amazing front porch!! What a view and what a perfect location. My teens loved having the freedom to walk to the trail up the mountain and also to walk down into town and shop, have a meal and ice cream!! So so fun!! I highly recommend this spot for your CO trip!
I stayed here with my mom and sister for 4 days while we dress shopped for our wedding, and went to a red rocks show. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet location, front patio, and surrounding mountains. The owners were very responsive, and helpful whenever needed.
I took my wife to Golden for Mothers Day to meet up with our Denver and San Francisco Daughters. The house was ideal for us. Cosy, Comfortable, Quiet Neighborhood, Easy walk to heart of Golden. Additionally the house and kitchen were well furnished and supplied to make the stay very enjoyable. The owner was easy to communicate with. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat.
