Relaxing Forest Retreat/minutes from Lake George

The property was fantastic. Clean and very spacious. 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. There were 12 of us and we never felt like it was crowded. Very big kitchen fully stocked with all utensils, beer/wine glasses, mugs, plates etc. The beds were comfortable. The property was 15 minutes easy drive from the downtown Lake George and very straight forward drive. Host were very responsive. Check-in process was smooth. Best part of the property was the front porch with two tables with umbrella and sitting for 12. We spend lot of time out there. We would definitely stay there again next time we go to Lake George.

We totally enjoyed the cabin; it was in the perfect location that we needed to be in. The host was very responsive to our questions when we had them. We provided some feed back to them regarding some points of information that would be very helpful when guests need it. While it was too inviting, we did not use the pool, but we cleaned it of leaves daily. There were dead frogs in the skimmer that needed attention. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals The rooms were tidy and neat but not really clean. Attention is needed in the bathrooms and dusting was needed in some of the bedrooms. The vents in the rooms were in need of a wiping down, the oven needs to be cleaned, and all the tile floors really need a good vacuuming. We tried to vacuum but the vacuum canaster was not emptied and needed to be cleaned in the filter area as it was not picking up.We tidied up as the hosts requested and hope it was to their satisfaction. I would definitely rent this cabin again as it had a warm and cozy feeling to it. Our group enjoyed our time there.

Great place

A wonderful Adirondack themed home in the woods. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed. Convenient location to Lake George village. Gore Mountain was a short ride away. We loved having a campfire at night. The porch and deck was a favorite gathering place for us.

This space was better than the pictures and the perfect spot for our family vacation!!! So peaceful and relaxing!!!

The house is in a great location. It is very roomy. Love the outdoor decks and pool area.

The house was the perfect size and layout for 3 families with a total of 7 kids. Loved the pool, especially! It felt remote but was so convenient to everything.

This is a beautiful property inside and out. The living room was large with several comfortable seating options. My favorite part, however, is the outside! There are both covered and uncovered decks and is the best place to sit and relax to enjoy the peaceful property. The property is also only minutes to Lake George with tons of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

What an awesome property! Stayed here with 12 family/friends for my brothers bachelor party and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here! Beautiful home, fantastic property, and the owners were incredibly responsive throughout our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Great stay

A beautiful home, and a wonderful place for our family vacation. The adults and children all loved it. It was close to Lake George, the Great Escape amusement park, and all the things that make make for a fun-filled week.

This beautiful home was great for our family of 14!!! So much space and room for 6 adults and 8 children to run around and play. Pool is on the smaller size but that didn’t stop the kids from still having a blast! The home is located in the best area!!! Close to EVERYTHING lake George has to offer. Would highly recommend this home and can’t wait to come back and stay.

Two large families stayed comfortably in this lovely private cabin. Large outdoor decks, comfortable living room and huge kitchen offered plenty of space. Of note, the house was VERY clean, and bathrooms and kitchen are modern, stocked with everything you could need. The 3 downstairs bedrooms are all “connected” which worked fine our families. The three upstairs bedrooms were large and very private. Coordination for booking and check in was very prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation in a quiet neighborhood. Cleanliness of the property was first rate. Having a pool for our grandkids was a big plus. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 11. There are some improvements and TLC that could be made. I have made these suggestions to the owner. The beds are comfortable but very squeaky. Also the cabin could use some insulation or sound proofing as first floor sleepers could hear most of the second floor sleepers and vice versa. If some of the suggestions offered to the owner were made, we would definitely stay hear again.

This place is beautiful on the outside with lovely plants and flowers, nice pool and fire pit area. The inside was beautifully furnished in a cabiny style, which we loved. It is in a forested area, a little removed from the hustle of Lake George. We had so much fun doing things in the area, yet it was relaxing and refreshing to be there.

Great Vacation, house is spotless and has everything you will ever need. Host very friendly and attentive to all our needs. 11 people ages 3-73 and everyone had a great time. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful property with wonderful hosts. Very attentive to any small need we had. Responsive to any questions we had. The property was clean, well maintained and beautiful. The pool is a huge benefit that the kids loved. The house is cozy without being cramped with more than enough space for the 9 of us. The fire pit was a huge hit every single night. The small pond was an added bonus. If you’re looking for a little peace and tranquility I highly suggest you give this place a try.

A lovely weekend in a house big enough for 11 of us, ages 4 months to 84 years old.
