Stayed Oct 17, 2025We go to Highlands every fall and our normal VRBO was booked the weekend we wanted to visit. So we found this adorable house and so glad we did! The house is very private and wooded, beautiful in the fall with the color change. The house itself was stocked well and very clean. The outdoor area is beautiful and where we spent 90% of our time. The owners are very friendly and extremely easy to communicate with. We would stay here again, especially since they are pet friendly!!

Stayed Aug 11, 2025We loved our time at this cabin! The back porch is perfect and we really enjoyed spending time outside in the peaceful space eating, playing games, and reading. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive and communicated well, checkin and checkout were well explained. We would recommend and would visit again.

Stayed Jul 22, 2025We had a wonderful stay in Jackson County, NC. The setting was peaceful, and the home itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for our visit. We were greeted with a surprising and memorable moment—a bear casually strolling across the backyard just as we arrived!The beds were very comfortable overall, with the exception of the pull-out sofa bed, which had a spring mattress that wasn’t ideal. Our son ended up sleeping on the couch instead, which turned out to be quite comfortable. Aside from that small issue, everything else was perfect and made for a relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Stayed May 25, 2024We enjoyed our time at this property few minutes from Cashiers, NC. Big property with a hot tub, outdoor deck with fireplace, and everything we needed. We loved the fireflies in the meadow across the street.
