Located on one of the highest points in Duck. Enjoy fabulous views of the Ocean, Sound and surrounding area from our large wrap around deck. Beach access to the Ocean or Sound is just a quick stroll away! Approximately 350 yards to the Ocean, the access path is at the end of our street...and you do not have to cross the busy beach highway.
Relax in the comfortable Great Room decorated with knotty pine tongue groove paneling. The 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans & laminate floors.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025The ideal home for a small family! It has a large kitchen, living room area and outside deck space. Easy walk to the beach, and when Hurricane Erin prevented us from swimming in the ocean, we walked over to the sound and rented jet-skis! The rooftop deck allows views of sunrises and sunsets! We had a relaxing week.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025IT NEEDS UPGRADING AND PROPER MAINTAINENCE!!On the second day there we noticed granules from an insect infestation dropping on the kitchen counter from the ceiling. Also, the front door does not lock consistently. A toilet leaked water on the floor. All these required visits by 3 different repairmen. Only one of the issues (the toilet) ever got fixed during our stay.The hostess generously gave us a 100 rebate for our troubles.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024My family and I came to Duck Nc for the first time from Central Virginia. The house is just as described in the listing and was very affordable. It was nice to be able to walk to the oceanfront and not have to worry about parking. The downstairs room dad beach toys and chairs that we were able to use and that was awesome. The beds were super comfy but I do suggest you bring your own pillows. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Stayed Sep 2, 2024My boyfriend and I spent the week of Labor Day at Wood Duck and were very pleased. The house was very clean and was perfect for the two of us. The close proximity to the beach was great (less than a 10-minute walk), and the views of the ocean and sound from the house were incredible. We went out to dinner on our first evening, but spent the rest of the week cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. We had red flags at the beach so couldn't swim, but enjoyed the nearly empty beach every day. This was our first time to the Outerbanks as a couple, and neither of us had been in over a decade. Needless to say, we look forward to returning. Thank you to the lovely hosts for opening your home to us.
